Does no one actually want to bid on Diana's Dress on eBay?
It's actually being auctioned as we speak on the popular internet website eBay.
To view the auction, go HERE. Basically, no one's bid on it yet and it's due to end in 10 hours!
We'll be keeping track on how the auction goes and let you know the winner if there is one.
The starting bid on the site is a hefty $125,000 (63,000) - but it comes with free shipping. Potential bidders may have been put off by the note on the auction saying that only pre-approved bidders may bid on the dress. This means that all the bidders have to fill in THIS form, before they are allowed to bid on the dress - they is necessary for a more secure bid and to avoid jokers.
The pale blue silk chiffon evening dress up for auction has a strapless bodice of draped and tucked fabric with a crossover yoke.
A full skirt falls straight from the fitted bodice and the dress is accompanied by a matching long stole, also of chiffon.
The bust of the dress measures 36in, the waist 29in and the length from the top of dress to the hem is 50in.
It is being sold by WE tv, a cable network aimed at women, which launched the online auction last week.
The dress was first sold by Christies Auction House in New York City, in 1997 (referred to by Princess Diana as Sequins Save Lives auction) one month before her death. WE tv purchased the dress and displayed it along with other gowns from the auction in a six-city tour used to raise money for the Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.--UNSOLD--
