When Statement Necklaces Make--- the wrong statement.

Hideous. Monstrosity.Eyesore.But who is really to judge? Very recently, a former co-worker told me that "she wasn't into the Statement Necklace trend." She said, "there's way too much going on and they're entirley toooo big. She likes simple--- an understated diamond solitaire, or a mere strand of small pearls. These are pieces that a woman (or man if he is so inclined) can depend on again and again," I was told. Well, I own and operate an Online Jewelry store and I take pride in feeling biased. Without any therapy, I've even gotten past feeling downright insulted because the truth is that people are entitled to formulate their own opinions. (Like myself for instance). You see, I adore cutting edge jewelry---Bits of bling on twisted strands, colored bead with an unexpected vintage pin. To me, to me,this is fashion, paired with the simplest of outfits. But have I worn simple jewelry? Of course, and I will continue to; but the key is that I have tried both. The message here rings clear my fab Cityrocka Jewelry readers: Don't knock it til' you try it girlfriend. You just might adore it too. And just to show my former co-worker that I'm not down for every statement necklace piece that was ever made, below are a few that even I think takes a special kind of wearer :0 Namely not me. Eva-evaaa-evaaa.
