The woman who launched a lawsuit against Sacha Baron Cohen has lost her case, according to US reports.

Richelle Olsen launched a legal bid against the comic for sabotaging her bingo game three years ago for a scene in his hit movie Bruno.

She claimed that the incident had left her with serious emotional damage and wanted $25,000 in damages.

However, according to TMZ, a judge has now ruled in Cohen's favour and also told the woman she must pay out $17,000 to cover the actor's attorney fees.

Cohen was acting as his character Bruno when he sabotaged a bingo game in California in 2007 and Olsen first claimed that he told his camera crew to attack when she tried to take his microphone.

However, she later changed the story and said she was never attacked.
