Johnny Depp loves working with Penelope Cruz

Actor Johnny Depp says he loves working with Spanish actress Penelope Cruz because they have so much fun together.

The two worked together in Blow and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
"It's been a long road of giggles. There's nothing bad to say. I've even tried to provoke her into some fit of anger, it doesn't work, I get nothing. Giggles, more giggles," a website quoted him as saying.

Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem became parents to son Leo in January and Depp feels the actress is a "phenomenal" mother.
"She's an inconceivably phenomenal mommy, which I've witnessed firsthand, and it's pretty incredible. She's as loyal and true a friend as anyone could ever dream of and I'm very privileged to be able to have her in my life," he said.

Johnny Depp to Appear on Ricky Gervais' Sitcom

Johnny Depp reportedly thinks life's too short to hold a grudge. The A-lister was targeted when Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais made fun of Depp's caper 'The Tourist' (co-starring Angelina Jolie) at the 2010 Globes ceremony in January.

But despite some in Hollywood blasting Gervais' wisecracks, Reuters reports that Depp, 47, actually prefers to get in on the joke and work with the British funnyman.

Gervais wrote on his blog recently that the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star has confirmed his participation in the upcoming sitcom 'Life's Too Short,' to be co-written by Gervais in collaboration with longtime comedy partner Stephen Merchant ('Extras') for British TV.

Like 'Extras,' the new sitcom is expected to feature a slew of famous faces in cameo appearances. But Gervais denied on his blog a recent rumor that Jerry Seinfeld would be a guest.

'Life's Too Short' follows the exploits of a little person with a larger-than-life personality (Warwick Davis) who runs a talent agency for dwarf performers. The BBC2 series, in development now, is also expected to air on HBO in the States.

Another bit of news that Gervais confirmed to his blog readers recently: He will guest-star with Will Arnett on the May 19 season finale episode of NBC's 'The Office.'

Gervais, of course, co-created the original 'The Office' back in 2001, and the modest series (it ran 14 episodes in the U.K., and starred Gervais as incompetent office manager David Brent) became such a hit, it has been remade time and again into international versions set in Germany, Chile, Israel, and Quebec, Canada, with a China-based version of the show reportedly in development. Critics may have slammed the 49-year-old Brit's recent Golden Globes performance, but that chuckling sound you hear can only be one thing: Gervais having the last laugh.

What do you think of the trailer? Should Disney have stopped making these movies, 3 movies ago or are you fan?

Johnny Depp Named Sexiest Man Alive

Johnny Depp has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive for the second time. He is the third man to receive this honor, along with Brad Pitt and George Clooney. A spokesperson for People Magazine stated, "At 46, the father of two still reigns as Hollywood's most irresistible iconoclast; as one-of-a-kind as his beloved 15 year-old-boots and as smoldering as his favorite Cuban cigars. He has had women swooning since his days as a teen detective on '21 Jump Street'."

Reports circulated earlier this week that Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson was taking the Sexiest Man crown this year. However, Depp's sexiness reigns supreme.

Hugh Jackman, last year's recipient of this prestigious honor, is elated that the "pressure's off" of him now. He says, "I can be a slob again."

Also featured on 2009's Sexiest Men list include: Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, David Beckham, Bradley Cooper, Gilles Marini, Nick Cannon, Chris Daughtry, and Robert Downey Jr.

Johnny Depp Plans to Send His Children to School in Britain

Public Enemies star, Johnny Depp has reportedly purchased a mansion in Bath and is now visiting private schools in the area. He is looking for a place to send his two children, Lily Rose, 10, and Jack, seven whom he had with French singer Vanessa Paradis.

The 46-year-old actor will most likely pick one in the next few weeks so his kids can be enrolled in time for the start of the new academic year in September.

A spokesman at one of the schools Johnny visited said, "As yet, he hasn't enrolled his children and I believe he is looking at other schools. If he is thinking of us for September, he'd better be quick as the school is filling up fast for the new term, particularly with overseas students. We've seen a real jump in students from overseas."

Johnny has really been striving to secure a more normal life for his family.

When asked what he would do if he wasn't famous for a day, he said, "I would walk through Disneyland with my kids. That's what I'd do for the day. I would go on every ride and I would walk through Disneyland with my kids and let them experience all the things most kids do. They don't get to do those things with daddy. When daddy walks through Disneyland with them, things get weird."
