Lady GaGa: 'I won't get plastic surgery'

Lady GaGa has vowed never to have plastic surgery.

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, the popstar claimed that plastic surgery is more harmful than body modification meant as an artistic expression.

"I've never had plastic surgery," GaGa said.

The 'Born This Way' singer added: "I think that promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification".

GaGa, who fell on stage during a live performance in Houston recently, described her forthcoming second album as "heroin", claiming that "the [album's] experience gets massively more intense as you explore it".

The second single from the album, titled 'Judas', is to be released on April 19.

Lady Gaga danced on bleeding feet

Singer Lady Gaga proved she is prepared to suffer for her art when she danced until her feet bled on the set of one of her music videos.

The pop star wore a pair of sky-high Christian Louboutin shoes to film her "Love Game" promo and considered stopping the shoot when she realised her strenuous routine was leaving her with deep cuts on her toes, reports aceshowbiz.com.

But after some words of encouragement from her creative director Laurieann Gibson, Gaga resolved to keep dancing despite her bleeding feet.

"There was one time during the LoveGame video, she had on Louboutins for the first time and we're dancing on cement. Her toes were knocking against the shoes because my choreography is very challenging," said Gibson.

"But she kept dancing and her feet were bleeding. It was almost the last couple of shots, and she limps over to me and she says, 'Oh, my feet are hurting me,' and I said, 'You told me you wanted to a superstar... You dance till they say cut'," he added.

Happy birthday Lady Gaga

NEW YORK: It feels like Lady Gaga has been around for ages, so its hard for us to believe that the pop star is only celebrating her 25th birthday today Monday!

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, born March 28, 1986, better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American pop singer-songwriter. After performing in the rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side in 2003 and later enrolling at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, she soon signed with Streamline Records, an imprint of Interscope Records.

Gaga came to prominence following the release of her debut studio album The Fame (2008), which was a commercial success and achieved international popularity with the singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face".

Gaga is well-recognized for her outr sense of style in fashion, in performance and in her music videos. Her contributions to the music industry have garnered her numerous achievements including five Grammy Awards, amongst twelve nominations; two Guinness World Records; and the estimated sale of fifteen million albums and fifty-one million singles worldwide.

Lady Gaga urges Malaysian fans to protest gay lyric censorship

Pop star Lady Gaga has urged fans in Malaysia to protest over her gay lyrics in 'Born This Way' single being censored.

Malaysian radio stations are playing edits of the song because they fear fines if they broadcast lyrics which promote acceptance of gay people, reports the BBC.

Speaking at a Google''s Californian HQ, Gaga said it was fans'' "duty as young people to have their voices heard".

"You must do everything that you can if you want to be liberated by your society, you must call, you must not stop, you must protest peacefully," the singer added.

In the song, she sings, "no matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian trans gendered life, you were born this way".

Snow cancels Lady Gaga concert in Paris

Lady Gaga isn't having much luck in Paris.

In October, the pop diva's concerts in Paris were postponed amid nationwide strikes over a government plan to raise the retirement age. One show was rescheduled for Sunday, but it was called off because of snow.

The weather led authorities to ban big trucks from driving through the Ile de France region that includes Paris. Lady Gaga's trucks couldn't get to the venue on time, concert venue Bercy stadium said on its Web site.

A concert Monday is expected to go forward as planned, and the canceled show is likely to be rescheduled for Tuesday, Bercy said.

The diva vented on Twitter, writing that "all 28" of the trucks carrying sets for her elaborate show had been detained. She said had wanted to do a show without the sets, but even sound and power equipment was blocked.

"I am furious and devastated," she wrote, adding that it was "unfair to my fans and to me."

Lady Gaga also wrote that two of her employees were "arrested trying to get into Paris so we could perform," without elaborating. French police, the singer's representatives and the concert venue did not immediately return calls and e-mails seeking comment on that claim.

Most Fascinating People of 2009

Barbara Walters has decided who the most fascinating people of 2009 are. (So we didn't have to think about it ourselves.) Those appearing on the list include reality television mother Kate Gosselin, former vice president nominee Sarah Palin, and no-pants wearing singer Lady Gaga. Others appearing on the list include FOX news anchor Glenn Beck, producer Tyler Perry, and NFL quarterback Brett Favre.

The obvious choice for most fascinating person of 2009 is America's country singing sweetie-pie Taylor Swift. Her sold out concerts and high record sales are impressive for a girl of her age. Taylor Swift became a household name after Kanye West rudely interrupted her VMA acceptance speech.

The most questionable person who made the list? American Idol runner up, Adam Lambert. Lambert hasn't made much noise thus far, but has been hyped up by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. Lambert has been in the news recently for kissing a male band member in a performance during the American Music Awards. Good Morning America canceled Lambert's appearance after this smooching incident.

The Fame Kills tour killed for real!

The much hyped about Lady Gaga and Kayne West "Fame Kills" tour has been offically cancelled! There is much speculation as to the exact reason behind the cancellation some sources are claiming it was due to less than spectacular ticket sales (thanks a lot Kayne) or creative differences between the two artists, either way the tour is a no go and refunds will be given to anyone who has purchased tickets.

Word has it that Lady Gaga is still planning a tour without Kayne that will focus on hitting up smaller venues throughout the country, although personally I think she is just about ready to hit the arena market depending on who she chooses to take out on the road!

Wow, Kayne! I hope you are learning a much needed lesson from all of this, and even if it was just a ploy for publicity it is certainly backfiring on you now!
