Video of Lohan leaving store with necklace aired

Lindsay Lohan is shown in surveillance video broadcast Monday texting and trying on multiple pieces of jewelry in front of a clerk in a Southern California store that has accused her of stealing a $2,500 necklace.

Snippets of the footage taken by four cameras in the Venice store of Kamofie & Co. was aired by "Entertainment Tonight" along with analysis by attorneys not handling the case.

Lohan returns to court on Thursday, when her attorney will tell a judge whether the "Mean Girls" actress will accept a plea deal in the felony grand theft case that guarantees a jail sentence.

The video was sold by a representative of Kamofie to a commercial images unit of The Associated Press, which then licensed it to "Entertainment Tonight."

Wilmer Valderrama & Demi Lovato Dating?

There were rumors of these two hooking up before Demi Lovato entered rehab a few months away but Wilmer Valderrama's reps squashed that.

Now that 18 year old Demi out of rehab the rumors are back. News reports (via MTV) state that she and 31 year old Wilmer were spotted on a movie date at Shermann Oaks Galleria's Arclight Cinemas in Los Angeles and were also seen at Whole Foods.

It really wouldn't surprise me if this rumor was true considering Wilmer has a long list of lovely starlets on his "ex" list. He's been known to have dated bad girl Lindsay Lohan, rocker Avril Lavigne, lame-o Ashlee Simpson, cutie Mandy Moore, hottie Mila Kunis and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Lohan in gem theft case "I would never steal"

Troubled US starlet Lindsay Lohan said Thursday she would never steal, a day after she pleaded not guilty to the theft of a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles jewellery store.

The 24-year-old actress told followers on her Twitter account that she had not been brought up to be dishonest -- and also lamented "absurd" press comment about a tight-fitting dress she wore to court on Wednesday.

"I would never steal, in case people are wondering. I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal," said Lohan, who was released on bail after her latest brush with the law, but warned she could face jail if she breaks the law again.

"Also, what I wear to court shouldn't be front page news. It's just absurd. God bless xox L," she said, in reference to the clingy shot white dress she wore to court.

Lohan, who completed a court-ordered spell in rehab for drug addiction last month, allegedly walked out of the jewellery store in Venice Beach -- the seafront area of LA where she lives -- with the gold necklace on January 22.

The actress, who is on probation for a 2007 drunk driving offense, could face up to three years in jail if convicted on the grand theft charge.

She checked out of the Betty Ford clinic near Palm Springs last month, following a spell there after she was briefly jailed in September for failing a court-ordered drug test.

Lohan was sentenced in July to serve 90 days in jail and another 90 days in rehab for violating her probation in a drunk-driving case. But due to jail overcrowding, she served just 13 days before being freed to the detox facility.

A queen of Hollywood nights and a favorite target of the paparazzi, the former Disney child star was once considered one of the most promising actresses of her generation.

But Lohan's career has dipped many times since 2005 amid legal woes, visits to rehab and movie flops.

In 2007, she spent just 84 minutes in jail after police arrested her twice for cocaine possession while driving -- in one instance crashing her Mercedes-Benz into a tree.

In 2008, the "Parent Trap" star received two Razzie Awards, the satirical prizes presented to Hollywood's worst acting performances.

Rehab staffer accuses Lohan of battery then fired

A day that began with authorities confirming Lindsay Lohan was being investigated for battery on a female staffer at a California rehab facility treating the starlet ended with the worker fired after giving an interview about the incident.

Riverside County sheriff's detectives said Tuesday they are investigating the "Mean Girls" star for an alleged altercation with a worker at a Betty Ford Center facility in Palm Desert that occurred after 1 a.m. on Dec. 12.

The agency declined to say what prompted the fight, but said the worker was interested in pursuing charges against Lohan.

Betty Ford spokesman Russ Patrick said the staffer was fired for identifying patients at the center in an interview and "disclosing a privileged document."

Although Betty Ford and the sheriff's department did not identify the worker, she appeared in an interview on celebrity website TMZ on Tuesday afternoon and was promptly fired. She claims the 24-year-old Lohan and two other girls had sneaked out of the facility.

In the video, Dawn Holland claims she was trying to get Lohan to submit to a breathalyzer test when the actress became belligerent, pushed her and snatched a phone from her hand, straining her arm.

Attempts to reach Holland were unsuccessful. A phone number registered to her was not accepting calls Tuesday evening.

Lohan has not been arrested or charged in the incident. Her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said in an e-mailed statement that it was the actress who called for police.

She declined to offer additional details, citing the ongoing sheriff's investigation.

While the fallout for Holland was swift, Lohan's situation remains unclear. A judge has ordered her to remain at Betty Ford until Jan. 3 and remain out of trouble until Feb. 25. He also ordered her to submit to all drug and alcohol screenings or face up to six months in jail for violating her probation on a 3-year-old drunk driving case.

Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela said Lohan's case would be presented to prosecutors, who will decide whether Lohan faces a new charge.

Lohan has been receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center and its facilities, about 120 miles east of Los Angeles, since late September.

Patrick's statement said that until Tuesday, Betty Ford had upheld the confidentiality of 96,000 patients who had received treatment there since it opened in 1982.

He said Holland's interview was a breach of trust and the rehab process.

"When patients come to the center for treatment, they come to a safe place where their identity is protected, where anonymity is safeguarded," he said in an e-mail. "Their simple priority when in treatment is to learn how to live a life free of alcohol and other drugs.

"Confidentiality and trust are key to the treatment and recovery process."

Lohan's stint at Betty Ford is her fifth stay in rehab and her second this year.

Beginning in July, she was jailed for 14 days, followed by three weeks at inpatient rehab. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox agreed to release her early from treatment at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in late August based on doctor's recommendations.

Lindsay Lohan usually go through life like the jet-setter and a luxurious life is not like most women prisoners in a special prison where he spent a period of incarceration. There are some things that will be faced by the actress 'Mean Girls' this.

1. Two hot meal and a cold: like other prisoners - and their carers who menawasi - Lindsay Lohan will get a hot meal at breakfast and dinner and cold food for lunch, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department.

2. Sleeping in the cot (cot): Lindsay Lohan reportedly got the same bed as other prisoners. Lohan may need adjustment because he had previously lived in Hollywood's famous Chateau Marmont hotel renowned for using the European linen and cashmere.

3. Unwanted attention: the New York Daily News quoted words of prisoners Tamara Haley "everyone wants a piece of it."

4. No Twitter: Cellular telephones and computers are not allowed inside the prison, which makes the actress will not be able to 'vent' to the outside world. The only means of communication is a public phone, according to the Associated Press.

5. New clothes: Lohan likes fashion but will not be able to enjoy behind prison bars. Most of the prisoners wearing orange overalls.

6. Meet the doctor: When inside, Lohan, like other prisoners, will meet with two doctors, one psychiatrist. they will decide whether Lohan will require treatment when there.

7. Tues 12x12: Usually Lohan easily travel between Los Angeles, New York and Europe but now a very limited movement. most of the prisoners occupy a cell measuring 8x12 feet occupied 20 hours a day. But Lohan has made her renowned status of the cell gets larger, according to ABC News reports.

8. One Plastic bags: The actress will be given a bag containing soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste and other toiletries.

Lindsay Lohan - A Secret Celebrity Hoarder?

Claims that Lindsay Lohan is a “secret celebrity hoarder” are circulating after her interview with The Insider’s Niecy Nash. Lohan allows Nash into her home – apparently something she never does. Once inside, it’s obvious why this is. Lohan reveals hundreds of pairs of shoes and racks of designer clothing. Piles of clothing, bags, shoes and accessories cover the floor, many items with the tags still attached.

Lohan admits that she has trouble parting with all the clothing she has obtained over the years, “I just need to get rid of stuff,” says Lindsay. “That’s personal stuff that I have to, you know, work on.”

Lindsay’s mother Dina defends her daughter’s “hoarding”. "It's not just stuff that she bought," says Dina. "A lot if it is gifted so it's not necessarily stuff she buys. Like, a company will send five pairs of jeans.” No matter how she got the stuff, Lindsay obviously has more than she can handle. Dina says they plan to donate some of the excess stuff that seems to be suffocating the young celebrity.

On taking care of the abundance problem Lindsay says, "I hope everything is in its place then I will be able to breathe."

Lindsay Lohan to Film BBC Documentary in India

Party girl actress Lindsay Lohan will be filming a documentary for BBC in India. There are two different claims circulating on what the documentary is about. According to Page Six the documentary will focus on children in poverty, but Life and Style claims it is about sex trafficking.

But the big question is what are Lohan's motives behind this seemingly charitable gesture? Some see it as a publicity stunt to try and remake her wild image and others believe that Lohan is just doing it out of the kindness of her heart. What do you think?

Lindsay Lohan Threatened by Gun

‘Mean Girls’ star Lindsay Lohan was left shaken following the terrifying encounter during a vacation in Morocco – only to discover the weapon held at her was fake.

She revealed on her Twitter page: "Umm-OMFG! I was walking ahead with the security guard and some guy was following me, then pulled up in his car and pointed a GUN at me!"

"I was on the phone w/my mum and i screamed and ducked and the guy started laughing and pushed the trigger and it was a fake gun..I was crying..he scared me."

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old's father Michael has demanded she go into rehab for an addiction to painkillers.

Speaking after the actress branded him a “lunatic” over his addiction claims, Michael told X17 online: "As far as Lindsay is concerned, if she retracts her statement and goes into a rehab, I will stop. But if the lies continue and prescription drug use don't stop. Neither will I."

"As for me. I am sorry I had to talk this root, but I have tried and tried to help Linds, and I been lied about long enough. Lindsay has two weeks to get herself into a LONG TERM rehab."

Michael’s comments came after Linday branded him a “lunatic” and said she wanted to change her name.

"My father is a lunatic and doesn't even deserve such a title since he's never been around in my life other than when he'd threaten me and my family," she said. "He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life, behind bars."

"So much for having a 'dad'... I'm going to spend some time with the ones that love me and i love now . The next shopping spree I’m going on is for a new last name!!!"

Brad Renfo's Last Interview Surfaces

Brad Renfro died in 2008 (Jan 15) at the age of 25 of a heroin overdose. Brad started acting at age 10 and had a promising career in the 1990's. While in recent years he wasn't as popular as Lindsay Lohan or Britney, he too lost his way and eventually lost the battle with drugs. His last movie "The Informers" was released in 2009 while it was filmed in 2007.

Sadly in this last interview which surfaced just recently on youtube by a user named Jay (film maker/director), Brad speaks painfully of how Hollywood and the lifestyle so many think is acceptable will ruin you.

Once a very attractive young man, you can see Brad is a bloated and worn shell of what he once was.

The interview shot in 2007 changes from upbeat to somber and then haunting as he forecasts his own fate: "A lot of people don't make it. They don't live through it." It's sad that he gave such strong advice and was trapped by his own demons.

Lindsay Lohan Hints Sex Tape Stolen

OK, there is no other way to put it. Lindsay Lohan's home break-in this week seems to have been an inside job and seems to revolve around a sex tape and not a traditional robbery.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to parse these words into what she really meant in a tweet posted though Lindsay's personal twitter account: "things that a certain old friend knew meant a lot to me" were taken. A safe full of items was stolen. Sources believe scandalous documents and most likely videos are part of the booty.

Meanwhile LAPD investigators believe they have their suspects in their sights. With video surveillance recordings in hand, they are now looking for one male and two females ages 18 to 25. They entered Lohan's home through an unlocked door entering a court yard at approximately 1:10 am Sunday morning. According to police the suspects covered their faces with scarves.

Leslie Sloane-Zelnik, Lohan's spokesperson commented: "personal belongings were taken without remorse." It appears whomever hit her home, took things of deep affection. We can only hope Lindsay gets her personal keepsakes back.

Lindsay Lohan Robbed

Lindsay Lohan returned to her L.A home at around 3 a.m Sunday morning and found it had been broken into and ransacked. According to her mother, Dina Lohan, "The safe was ripped out of the wall, and the door was off the hinges and door handles removed. Bags, shoes and jewelry were taken, too." Shaken but physically unhurt, Lindsay has decided to pack her remaining things and move to someplace more secure.

Lindsay's father Michael has allegedly hired a private investigator to look into the crime, as he is convinced it was an "inside job" because Lindsay's staff hadn't turned on the security alarm. However, three men were caught on a surveillance camera breaking into the house. Lindsay had a similar situation happen to her earlier this year when there was an attempted break-in at her home, but the alarm went off and scared them away. Los Angeles police are investigating the current incident.
