Diane Lane Signs On To Be Superman's Mom In New Movie

Warner Brother has announced that ?Oscar-nominated actress Diane Lane has signed on to play Superman's adoptive mom in the upcoming remake of the 'Superman: Man of Steel' franchise.

The 46-year-old actress was cast after Henry Cavill was chosen to portray Superman in Zack Snyder's remake. The search for the leading lady, Lois Lane still continues although it was rumored that 'Twilight' actress Kristin Stewart had role but turned it down when she decided to go after independent films.

There has been talk that Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde, Diana Agron, Jessica Biel and Rachel McAdams have all been added to the list of possible actresses to take the role. Zack Snyder has directed such films as 'Dawn of the Dead', '300', 'Watchmen' and the soon to be released 'Sucker Punch'.

Ben Affleck & Rachel McAdams Staring Together In Untitled Movie

This is the first photo, released by The Hollywood Reporter, of the untitled Terrence Malick romantic movie staring Ben Affleck and Rachel McAdams.

There's no word on the plot or even a hint at what the title is going to be but we do know that Javier Bardem and Rachel Weiz are attached to the project. Terrance Malick is well known for taking a break between movies but has thrown a curve ball by releasing 'Tree of Life', staring Brad Pitt and this new movie so close together.

I used to think Ben Affleck would always be better cast as a supporting actor but it seems like his acting may be getting better as he ages because his newest movie 'The Town' was spectacular. Lets hope his newfound talent keeps getting better...

PCM Movie Review: The Time Traveler's Wife

Another New York Times Bestseller makes a leap onto the big screen. The Time Traveler's Wife is a story about Clare (Rachel McAdams) who has been in love with Henry (Eric Bana) her entire life. She believes they are destined to be together, even though she never knows when they will be separated: Henry is a time traveler-cursed with a rare genetic anomaly that causes him to live his life on a shifting timeline, skipping back and forth through the years with no control. Despite the fact that Henry's travels force them apart with no warning, and never knowing when they will be reunited, Clare desperately tries to build a life with her one true love.

As a person who has both read the book and seen the movie I must say, not a bad job. It is quite obvious from the beginning the great chemistry between McAdams and Bana. I think that the movie was as similar to the book as it could have been. Considering that it's Hollywood, it had to cut out some parts and adapt things here and there to keep the audiences attention, but still I was not disappointed. I listened around me in the theater to women blowing their noses and sniffling, and it was quite evident that the passion between the characters Clare and Henry that radiates from the book had found its way onto the screen. Mind you, before you see the movie I suggest getting your mind prepared for understanding time travel and the space time continuum, but other than that I would suggest this movie. Anyone whose looking for a love story that is not at all sappy and with actors you can't help but love check out The Time Traveler's Wife.
