Nelly Furtado Is Donating $1 Million From Gaddafi To Charity

Singer Nelly Furtado says she will be donating the $1 Million she was paid to perform for family members of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

Nelly Furtado, Beyonce, Usher and Mariah Carey all performed for Gaddafi in the past and although Beyonce and Usher have yet to disclose the amount they were paid, they are  feeling the pressure to give back the money they were paid.

Nelly is the first of the four artists to openly say they're giving back their performance money.

"In 2007, I received 1million$ from the Qaddafi clan to perform a 45 min. Show for guests at a hotel in Italy," the singer, 32, writes on Twitter. "I am going to donate the $."

I hope the rest of the artist follow in her footsteps. I highly doubt they'll miss the money in their bank account and the best part is that it's totally tax deductible! 

The Obama Administration has recently called for Gaddafi to step down from his 40 years of rule following an uprising against him that has left 1,000 Libyans killed.

Sexy Brad Pitt Charity Work

We all know that Brad Pitt is one of the sexiest men on the planet, but pictures taken today at the old Holy Cross neighbourhood go even further, portraying him in tight T-shirt and tight white jeans with a hard hat on!

Global Green USA and Brad announced that they will join forces to re-build the neighbourhood devastated by Hurricane Katrina, when they launched an international design competition last year. Over 100 entries were submitted, all including zero-energy affordable housing development in the area.

It looks like Brad's hit it again; we all know about his passion towards architecture and gusto to charity work.
