David Beckham has insisted that he will continue to play in America's Major League Soccer (MLS) for the remainder of his contract because he is happy at the LA Galaxy.

The 34-year-old injured soccer star hobbled on to the Late Show with David Letterman on last night.

He told the host: 'I will be playing for the Galaxy for the rest of the time now, for the rest of my contract. I've always honoured my contracts and I'll do that with the Galaxy. After that we'll see what happens, but I'm very happy there.'
Beckham, who was last seen playing on loan for A.C. Milan, explained why the American soccer team allowed him to go on loan to Italy.

He said: 'I needed to do it to stay in the English national team and go to the World Cup.

'They have always supported me since I signed the contract - to allow me to do it. The organisation has been tremendous with me,' he added.

When host Letterman asked if managers at Galaxy were annoyed about his injury Beckham admitted they were, but said it was 'just one of those things'.

Attentions turned to the World Cup in South Africa, where Beckham hopes to go to, but as a spectator.
He said: 'I won't be playing, but as a supporter and part of the team, the manager's invited me. I haven't spoken to him about details but it will be about how my leg will be.'

Showing Letterman a gruesome image of his injury Beckham said he believes he was pushing himself too hard to make England's World Cup team
Beckham is confident South Africa 2010 will be one of the most memorable World Cups yet.

'I think it be a successful World Cup. I'm a big fan of the country and I've always had so many fans from there.

'I think the organization will be second to none and it will be one of the best World Cups ever,' he declared. The LA Galaxy midfielder also showed off a gruesome picture of his injury and explained how doctors had repaired his foot.

'They cut open the top of my calf, pulled the tendon back down, cut open my Achilles and re-attached it.'

Beckham sustained the injury while playing for A.C. Milan in a Serie A match against Chievo in March.

Beckham believes he sustained the injury because he's been pushing his body too hard saying 'it could happen to anyone'.

'I think I'd been running too much in the game and I was tired, there was a minute left and it just went,' he said.

'I think In the last two years I've been pushing myself too hard because I wanted to get into the World Cup and stay in the English national team and I'd been flying from LA back to Europe a lot and I think it gave up,' he added.

Soccer Gay kiss between Manchester Uniteds Paul Scholes and Gary Neville looks very passionate.

Manchester Uniteds Paul Scholes and Gary Neville recently celebrated their teams triumph in quite a peculiar way, some referred to it like a Soccer Gay kissing celebration that wasnt quite appropriate.

People are saying that after seeing this Soccer Gay kiss, they thought that it doesnt look like a normal kiss, that it looks passionate like a kiss with feelings, and making jokes about these two talented Manchester players Paul Scholes and Gary Neville being really United. Take a look at the photos and the Kissing time Video below.

I still dont get why guys slap each others butts when they congratulate each other, baseball players do it all the time and a lot, I mean I wouldnt slap my friends butt after she made a great pie, or for a job well done you know OMG! Now Im sounding like the episode in Friends when Chandler didnt like his boss slapping his butt! But back to the physical contact, maybe after hearing about this story of certain two Manchester United players who did something different to congratulate each other, the slapping on the butt doesnt sound that bad after all.

This weekend Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes received an intimate and very personal congratulations from his teams captain Gary Neville, who didnt just express his happiness by just hugging him, but also kissed him, while holding his face. Maybe it was nothing, and media is just making too much buzz about it and publishing way too many pictures. Paul is happily married to his childhood sweetheart Claire Froggatt they have three gorgeous children. Gary Neville is also married, he tied the knot three years ago with Emma Hadfield they now have two lovely daughters, I suppose their wives didnt even pay much attention to their husbands kiss, like media is referring to it as Soccer Gay Kissing, but I am sure that soccer players will certainly from now on think twice about the way they celebrate their goals, homeruns or whatever they are celebrating.

Look at Paul Scholes and Gary Nevilles photos and the Kissy Kissy moment video below.
