Melanie Griffith: Letting painkiller addiction 'starve to death in a corner'-Skiing accident cause addiction to painkiller.

Melanie Griffith tells the Spanish magazine �Hola! that her recent stint in rehab was due to a painkiller addiction stemming from a skiiing accident, People reports. At the time she entered rehab last summer, Griffth's husband Antonio Banderas called the move "precautionary," saying she was feeling "a little bit" weak in her resolve to stay away from drugs.




In the magazine, Griffith, who had been in rehab at least twice before, calls addiction "a monster." "If I feed it, it will always want more and more, so now I'm letting it starve to death in a corner. But it's always there."
