Date set for Twilights Breaking Dawn Part 2
Director Bill Condon will shoot footage for both films at the same time, starting this November. The burning question seems to be whether the final installment from the last book in the series by Stephenie Meyers, will be in 3D.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the studio has not decided yet though the director is not leaning toward 3D. Many Twilight fans have voiced opposition to three dimensions.
Both films will steer clear of busy summer schedules and next years Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows finale in July 2011.
Meanwhile the three principal stars are busy filming. Robert Pattinson is working on Water for Elephants with Christoph Waltz and Reese Witherspoon set for release April 2011.
Kristen Stewart is shooting another independent film, On The Road, based on Jack Kerouacs seminal book and co-starring with Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy) and Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man 3).
Taylor Lautner, the third star of the series, will be seen in Abduction, a thriller directed by John Singleton (2 Fast 2 Furious) with Alfred Molina and Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter), and signed on to play action figure Stretch Armstrong after Twilight.

Bella's suitors tussle in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
I would've pegged high-schooler Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) as a Sylvia Plath fan this is a girl with daddy issues, for sure but it's Robert Frost she quotes in the beginning minutes of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight series.
"Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice," she reads aloud to her undead although he doesn't look a day over 18 boyfriend Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). The fire-and-ice metaphor signals early that the dominant dramatic struggle of this installment will be Bella's push-pull between two suitors, her hot-blooded wolf friend Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and her cold-to-touch vampire beau Edward.
The two rivals bicker and tussle like schoolboys in a sandbox over a prized toy and, really, for long stretches of the film, Bella might as well be an inanimate object. She's the narrator of this saga and nominally its heroine, but more often than not, she's just a bystander, referred to in third person even as she stands mere inches away.
Bella has always been a milquetoast that much is a constant, both in Stephenie Meyer's source books and their feature-film adaptations; but what especially rankles here is that when the sexually curious Bella does try to take action, by initiating sex with Edward, she's swatted away, with Edward the mouthpiece for Meyer's hectoring pro-abstinence message murmuring paternalistically about her "virtue." (Vampires, a famously lusty lot, should consider a defamation suit; this neutered, even priggish portrayal can't be good for business.)
So, no action in the bedroom: Let slip the dogs of war, then. Make that wolves: When a vengeful vampire amasses against Edward an army of "newborns" (brand-new vampires who are especially bloodthirsty during their baby-steps phase), the outnumbered Cullen clan must strike an uneasy alliance with their longstanding enemies, Jacob's wolf pack. (The CG wolves, alas, have become less convincing, but they fit right in with the Cullens, who storm through the movie like poseable action figures with bad bleach jobs.) During this brief dtente, Eclipse becomes more emphatic and more energized, especially when Lautner and Pattinson get a quiet mountaintop scene of teasing back-and-forth that's sparkier than any other configuration heretofore seen in this tormented love triangle.
Director David Slade (30 Days of Night) splits the difference between kick-starter Twilight's stylish camp and follow-up New Moon's turgid drama, and, as a piece, it's superior to the latter film. But the supposedly epic battle the entire film builds toward the single action set-piece is a ho-hummer. Fire and ice, turns out, was an oversell: Think tepid tap water instead.

Taylor Lautner in QQ magazine talks about Twilight and others
At 18 years old, Taylor Lautner has found himself to be the heartthrob of millions of teens around the world, despite his short acting resume. His loyal Twilight fans have propelled him into the spotlight for his role as Jacob Black, (once a mob of rabid Team Jacob members swarmed him in a Brazil, forcing him and co-star, Kristen Stewart, to lock themselves in a small room until the SWAT team arrived).
But this level of fame, as GQ senior editor Mickey Rapkin discovers (over lunch at the Olive Garden), comes from an extremely humble and oddly fortuitous beginning one that involves a karate program, the Blue Power Ranger, and his pilot father. And while Lautner seems to have learned to cope better with his popularity, the young star demonstrates an impressive level of modesty and a sincere appreciation for his comparably quiet home-life for someone experiencing such success so early on.
Taylor Lautner on what it felt like to present at the Oscars, with Kristen Stewart:
I would have passed out if she wasnt there! Lautner says. Youre looking down and youre talking to George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprioand theyre listening to you!
...on having to audition a second time for the role of Jacob Black:
Im in the gym, and Im doing reps, and Im reading the books, and Im studying the character. Im just saying to myself, I want this role. I love this role. Im not gonna lose it. And Im gonna know it better than anybody, and Im gonna do that extra
rep, because Im gonna be Jacob Black.
...on if hes considered getting his own place:
Um, you know, not so much. Theres really no point. Im so busy. I really havent thought about it.... The thing I love is that my home life hasnt changed. I still help out with the garbage. I still help out with the lawn.
on being careful about his rep as a beefcake:
Originally I was supposed to take off my shirt. The script [of Valentines Day] said we were walking into school and Willy takes off his shirt. I said, Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. Hes gonna take off his shirt in the middle of school? No, no, no. The reason I took off my shirt for New Moon is because its written in the book that way. And theres reasons behind it.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse finally arrived in Los Angeles, as the stars of the film franchise came to the Nokia Theatre for the premiere of the film. On hand were Twilight stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson.
At the premiere, Kristen Stewart is rarely seen in a typical, conversative dress. She wore a short, one-sleeved white dress by Elie Saab that showed off her legs. Robert Pattinson wore a Gucci maroon silk cotton suit, and Taylor Lautner wore a Gucci grey two button suit.

Kristen Stewart apologizes for rape statement-sorry for comparing fame with rape
Kristen Stewart is known for being ill at ease with the media frenzy surrounding her role as Bella Swan in the blockbusting vampire movie franchise.
Twilight Saga star Kristen Stewart is apologizing for comments she made in Britains ELLE magazine which have left some people outraged.
I really made an enormous mistake clearly and obviously, Kristen told People. And Im really sorry about my choice of words.
The actress previously compared her life in the Hollywood spotlight and the constant hounding by the paparazzi to a sexual assault, telling Britains ELLE magazine in its July issue, The photos are so I feel like Im looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I cant handle it. I never expected that this would be my life.
Ive made stupid remarks before, and Ive always reasoned: Whatever. They can think what they want, she explained to People. Violated definitely would have been a better way of expressing the thought.
The 20-year-old star said her regretful comments have torn her apart.
People thinking that Im insensitive about this subject rips my guts out. I made a big mistake, she added.
On Wednesday, Harriet Lessel, the executive director of the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault, told Radar Online, Clearly that kind of violation is not the same as rape its just not the same understand that Kristen Stewart was expressing that she feels violated. Sure violation is a form of sexual assault, but its the most serious and the most personal. Its clearly a poor choice of words.
'Eclipse' Scene: Check Out A Sneak Peek Before MTV Movie Awards!
Last month, when we told you Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner would be on hand at the MTV Movie Awards to present a never-before-seen clip from "Eclipse," fans went wild trying to guess just what footage they'd get. Would it be the part where Edward Cullen proposes to Bella Swan? That much-hyped tent scene that co-star Elizabeth Reaser called a "chaste three-way"?
Well, the full clip won't be unleashed until the Movie Awards this Sunday, but it's just cruel to make you wait that long to find out what you'll be getting on show night. So we pushed and we pulled, we twisted arms and engaged in activities that might be illegal in some countries and voil: a teaser clip of the "Eclipse" scene to come.
As you can see by hitting play on the embedded video, the scene features Edward, Bella and Jacob in a parking lot. A bit of this footage cropped up in the trailer that dropped in April, but the full clip promises to show much more than anyone has yet seen.
In the teaser, a concerned-looking Jacob approaches Edward and Bella. "Look, I'm here to warn you," he tells him. "If your kind come on our land again ... "
"You should leave now," Edward responds.
As Twilighters know, the three of them are about to be pulled into an epic confrontation with the nefarious vampire Victoria and her band of newborn bloodsuckers. At the moment, though, both these men who love Bella are still butting heads.
Tune in Sunday night to check out the full clip during the Movie Awards. Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner will be introducing the scene live and in person. What's more, co-star Chaske Spencer will be MTV International's official red-carpet correspondent, reporting live from the scene outside the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, where some of Hollywood's biggest names will be stopping by to chat.
And then, of course, there will be the awards themselves. "New Moon" is up in five categories: Best Movie, Best Female Performance (Stewart), Best Male Performance (Pattinson and Lautner), Best Kiss (Stewart and Pattinson) and Global Superstar (Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner). Fan voting in all these categories is now under way at MovieAwards.MTV.com and will stay open through Saturday. Head over to make sure your favorite stars and movies triumph on the big night.

With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Twilight's Robert Pattinson chops off his floppy hair
Change of style: Robert Pattinson looking tousled, left, and with his new shorter crop on U.S. TV yesterday
Chatshow: Ellen DeGeneres, right, gets a look at Pattinson's new hairdo
But after lopping off his trademark locks, will Robert Pattinson still be able to win over his female fans?
The Twilight star showed off his new short crop on the Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday.
Pattinson told her he had just got the new style - and wasn't yet used to it.
Lucky girl: Australian air hostess Megan Schilling feels up Pattinson
Hit role: Pattinson in Twilight with co-star and real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart
Looking good: Robert Pattinson shows off his new haircut on the Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday
But rather than a fashion statement, he revealed the change of look was for a new film.
He said: 'It's three days old. I got a terrible infestation of nits and had to shave it all off.
'No, I'm doing a film.'
Pattinson said the new 'do was for his latest movie role, in Water for Elephants, with Reese Witherspoon.
The Depression-era circus drama, which also stars Christoph Waltz, begins filming in Los Angeles this week.
Pattinson, from Barnes in London, is currently hot property in Hollywood.
The 24-year-old stars in the Twilight vampire franchise, with fans around the world eagerly awaiting the next instalment, Eclipse, which is released on June 30.
The films have proved a phenomenon, with their success due in no small part to Pattinson's chiselled good looks.
Also on Ellen yesterday one lucky fan was chosen to pick Pattinson out in a line-up - by touch.
Australian air hostess Megan Schilling was plucked from the audience to don a blindfold before trying to pick Pattinson from a line-up.
After giving him a good squeeze from head to toe - but not his face - the blonde moved on to the others.
Schilling, from Melbourne, failed to pick out Pattinson, but still got a kiss on the cheek from the actor.
Pattinson also admitted he has problem speaking in public and is shy, preferring 'things where you have a little time to think about what you're saying.
'I've always had a problem actually thinking before I open my mouth... I have a problem with thinking.'

Kristen Stewart on Twi-hards, Seeming 'Miserable'
Ramping up for the next round of vampire madness with 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' set to drop in June, Kristen Stewart graces the cover of this month's Elle, talking relationships (why she doesn't divulge much), Twihards (yup, they're mental) and if she's really as glum as the tabloids make her out to be. For highlights, read on.
K-Stew doesn't kiss and tell: "I would never cheapen my relationships by talking about them. People say, 'Just say who you're dating. Then people will stop being so ravenous about it.' It's like, No they won't! They'll ask for specifics."
K-Stew doesn't see K-Stew the way the media sees K-Stew: "I think it's funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I'm nervous, uncomfortable and awkward -- and I am -- but those are bad words for them."
K-Stew is not depressed on the red carpet: "People say that I'm miserable all the time. It's not that I'm miserable, it's just that somebody's yelling at me ... I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying ... It's a physical reaction to the energy that's thrown at you."
K-Stew can't really do normal-person things in the wake of the Twihards: "It's insane! Once somebody finds out, you have to get the hell out of wherever you are. People freak out. Somebody knocked on my hotel room door and asked for a light, then said that they were a big fan. I was like, 'Do you really need me to light your cigarette? How do you know what room I'm in?' I can't be by myself and I like being by myself."
K-Stew is not fond of the paparazzi: "They're vicious. They're mean. They're like thugs. I don't event want to drive around by myself anymore. It's f***ing dangerous."

Robert Pattinson is "annoyed" by The Parts He is Offered
Robert Pattinson who is known for playing vampire Edward Cullen in 'Twilight' - claims that the roles he is offered rarely challenge his acting abilities.“Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do," Robert complained. "Acting is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.
"I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker."
Robert is somewhat overwhelmed by his new found fame because he thought the film adaptation of Stephanie Meyer's vampire drama would be "something really small."
"It’s strange because even though the figures show that the books were successful and sold millions of copies, you couldn’t even buy them in London," Robert told AnOther Man magazine. "Hardly anyone I knew had read them.
"I had no idea at all. I’d seen my co-star Kristen Stewart in 'Into the Wild' and some of the director Catherine Hardwicke’s other films, and that’s all I thought it was, something really small.”

Stephanie Meyers Officially Being Sued

Stephanie Meyers is having a rough month. She first was handed a cease-and-desist order for Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the Twilight series. Now, Meyers is being sued on grounds of plagiarism of another novel. According to to TMZ, author, Jordan Scott claims, "Breaking Dawn" shows "striking, articulable and substantial" similarities to Scott's "The Nocturne," in "plot lines, themes, dialogue, mood, setting, pace, characters, sequence of events [and] ideas."
Hachette Book Group, Meyer's publisher stated that the suit is "completely without merit and simply a publicity stunt to further Ms. Scott's career. It is indisputable that Ms. Meyer's 'Breaking Dawn' was based on her original 'Twilight' sequel 'Forever Dawn,' which Meyer wrote in the fall of 2003 and registered with the U.S. Copyright Office on January 5, 2004. That is nearly two years before Ms. Scott allegedly posted portions of her novel on the Internet and approximately five years before Ms. Scott filed her copyright in September 2008."
Is this legit or just a pathetic attempt for attention. There are many differences between Scott and Meyer's books. Although Meyer's books are best-sellers worldwide, and Scott's books barely stocked in bookstores. How will this end? Will Meyer's books be pulled off of shelves as Scott's suit asks for damages. All I can say is interesting timing for the suit. I'm pretty sure Breaking Dawn has been out for a while.

Pattinson Weirded Out By His Fans

Pattinson has already had enough of his fair share of crazed fans, especially the ones that led him to being hit by a NYC taxi. Let's just say obsessed fans might not be Robert's favorite. Pattinson stated, "People ambush me and try and find out what hotel I’m staying at, as well as wanting to touch my hair,” he said. “Everyone just screams and screams. It still feels surreal. One time, there were these four girls, in Chicago I think, and they had all scratched their necks until they bled. And then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross!"
Pattinson's craziest fan of them all... "A mother recently gave me her baby and asked me: 'Can you please bite her head?" according to the actor. Fans do realize that he's not really a vampire, right?

Bryce Dallas Howard is the New Victoria in the Twilight Series

The Twilight franchise is shaking things up. Terminator: Salvation and Spiderman 3 star Bryce Dallas Howard will be taking over the role of Victoria in the upcoming third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse. She is replacing the original Victoria, Rachelle Lefevre, who played the role in both Twilight and New Moon. The press release about the switch stated that Lefevre had no choice but to give up the role due to "scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made." The women both look quite similar so the switch doesn't seem to be that noticable, but how will die-hard fans feel?

Jennifer Love Hewitt Gush's About Pattinson

It's not just the fans and teenagers that Twilight star Robert Pattinson has captured the hearts of, but also big time celebs like Jennifer Love Hewitt! I'm sure you've all imagined what you would do if you ever met the world's favorite vampire and Jennifer Love Hewitt is no different. She hoped to bump into him and the rest of the Twilight crew at Comic-Con but wasn't lucky enough to. "I'd pass out. I can't talk about it, 'cause I'd pass out," she said. "It's because he's Edward. Listen, Edward can fly you through the forest. He's like Aladdin with vampire teeth — there's magic-carpet rides. He can sing. He can watch you sleep. He plays music. He sniffs your neck. I mean, please!" If the Ghost Whisperer star feels like she would pass out what chance do any of us normal girls have if in some alternate reality we ran into the hunky vampire.
Jennifer hasn't given up yet though. She's hoping that she'll be able to have some type of role in any future Twilight movies, no matter how big or small it is. "I want a part so bad. Any part's fine. I will be the vampire who carries Robert Pattinson's luggage in the airport, that is the part that I will play if they need it," she said. "Jamie wants to play a werewolf, so we're both putting it out there."
Who knows maybe she'll get her wish and we'll get to catch her in the future Twilight" movies!
