Jay's POV

O'Brien To Leave NBC

The ongoing battle between NBC, O’Brien and Leno is finally coming to an end. Jay Leno may be reclaiming the job as host of the “Tonight Show”, letting O’brien leave the network. According to TMZ, Conan O’Brien is losing “The Tonight Show” but is reportedly getting $32.5 million in exchange for the loss. NBC is also paying nearly $8 million severance to “The Tonight Show” employees.

Another part of the deal - Conan cannot host a new show until the fall. If he makes a deal with another network during his NBC contract period, it offsets the network’s obligation. Conan may have to leave his show creations behind under intellectual property right laws, including Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog.

Jay Leno says he has no bad feelings toward Conan, “Through all of this, Conan O’Brien has been a gentleman,” Leno said. “He’s a good guy. I have no animosity towards him.”

Whose side are you on?

Six Things Beyonce Will do on Her Six Months Break

Beyonce says during her break:

1. She is not stepping into the studio and will stay away from her shoots and recordings.

2. She would eat out a lot and would be visiting lots and lots of restaurants.

3. She is also eager to take up a few classes (maybe cooking or French-learning)

4. She is also keen to head into theatres and watch lots of movies munching popcorns to give her jaws something to work upon.

5. She, even, is desirous of making a dash to the Broadway theatres and witness some plays. Hmmm.

6. And finally, she quips, shed be doing a lot of random things (of which neither she nor we have any idea, at present).

She needs the rest!

JEWELRY THIEF NABS A MILI FROM USHER!

Today's quite a busy one People. Two posts in one day! Singer Usher Raymond claims that he was robbed of over a million dollars in jewelry! Here's what he alleges thus far. It happened in the ATL. (down-low perps trying to get icy while not trying to be Tardy for the Party maybe?) It happened while he was inside of the AT&T phone store. (Should we be on the lookout for a tatted up Usher with the name Cookie logoed on his upper chest?) Okay, in all seriousness, we do hope that the Let it Burn singer gets his pricey belongings returned. Nobody can afford to Light it Up in a recession :) The jewelry was left sitting in the back of his GMC Yukon. And one of the AT&T employees claims to have seen the crime when it was in progress....No snitching policy? Old girl better start talking... Usher's just the one to talk to if you got Confessions.....

A Murder At The People's Choice Awards 2010!!!

Well---not really, but Mary J did kill it (in the best kind of way) in the earrings shown above. I wasn't really into the Awards this year, but these baubles were certainly CityRocka-Post worthy. The delicious dangles in white and brown diamonds are by Jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz. Here's something else to kill---all of the rumors about a possible splitsville with her husband Kendu Issacs because of an earlier reported scuffle @ her album release party. It's just my personal opinion, but didn't that scene play out as being timely??? Sing with me now readers. "Ain't nobody gonna treat you better, ain't nobody gonna touch you better, ain't nobody gonna love you better, boy than I can...than I can..." Dang, I'm one girl that can sing!!! LOL.
