It's Big. It's Boldacious, and it's rooted in turquoise,brown, silver, gold, and ivory hues. Metals are mixed and textures are both rough and smoothed.Siriano's pieces definitely evoke the strong ethnic African,Indian and Chinese influences that he was going for. The fashion jewelry feel is totally tribal, and it's ritualistic in a way that could have you slipping on any one of his collection pieces, posing in front of your bathroom mirror, again, and again, and again.

This 2011collection undoubtedly, seems to mirror Project Runway's own, Christin Sirano's, spiky-haired creative, but quirky image. You're compelled to look at it, simply because it's not something that you see every day. This isn't by any means a diss. In fact, it speaks ear-shrieking volumes about having the courage to be different, in essence, creating your own lane. If you want to blend in with the crowd this line is surely not for you. Life-Altering Fashion Jewelry... Really?

I was inspired to post this blog entry based on the actions of people who act like they're down for you, act like they support you but don't, or know that you have things going on and say nothing at all because of envy and jealousy. These are the haters. And because they aren't armed with high ambition and drive(like you and I), their only aim is to bring you down. People have been trying to find ways to combat them, probably since the beginning of time---interestingly enough, with fashion jewelry even. Remember those individuals who wore garlic cloves around their necks? Okay, so maybe that's not something you'd generally see anymore but EVil Eye jewelry is definitely around. It's goal is to ward off anyone who doesn't wish you well and the eyes on your necklace, bracelet, anklet or ring is always watching. Even Celebrities are buying into it. But do I? Today's quite a busy one People. Two posts in one day! Singer Usher Raymond claims that he was robbed of over a million dollars in jewelry! Here's what he alleges thus far. It happened in the ATL. (down-low perps trying to get icy while not trying to be Tardy for the Party maybe?) It happened while he was inside of the AT&T phone store. (Should we be on the lookout for a tatted up Usher with the name Cookie logoed on his upper chest?) Okay, in all seriousness, we do hope that the Let it Burn singer gets his pricey belongings returned. Nobody can afford to Light it Up in a recession :) The jewelry was left sitting in the back of his GMC Yukon.
