It's Big. It's Boldacious, and it's rooted in turquoise,brown, silver, gold, and ivory hues. Metals are mixed and textures are both rough and smoothed.Siriano's pieces definitely evoke the strong ethnic African,Indian and Chinese influences that he was going for. The fashion jewelry feel is totally tribal, and it's ritualistic in a way that could have you slipping on any one of his collection pieces, posing in front of your bathroom mirror, again, and again, and again.

This 2011collection undoubtedly, seems to mirror Project Runway's own, Christin Sirano's, spiky-haired creative, but quirky image. You're compelled to look at it, simply because it's not something that you see every day. This isn't by any means a diss. In fact, it speaks ear-shrieking volumes about having the courage to be different, in essence, creating your own lane. If you want to blend in with the crowd this line is surely not for you. Now I could rock his stuff anywhere, anytime. Holler at your girl Christian.....

Happy New Year my Cityrocka Readers! I Hope that this new year brings you nothing but love, wealth,  strong health and good times. Okay, so let's talk Celebrity Jewelry Gossip. After all, I know that's what brought you here.

This must be some kind of trend..... this celebrity jewelry theft thing is suddenly off the chain. Pun intended. Paula Deen (see my previous post below), Paris Hilton got jacked for her jewelry , and now I find out that somebody was stupid enough to stick Cleo, from the Set It Off movie, a.k.a. Queen Latifah, up for her Jew-els? Are they freakin' crazy?  Gots to be. They were able to get away with $10,000 worth of her jewelry, which was jacked from her luxury hotel suite in Tobago. And when I say luxury suite, I mean luxurious as in $1000 per night to stay there. For that kind of money they should be leaving diamonds on Latifah's pillows instead of chocolate mints. I'm sure Latifah has insurance to cover her losses, but the thieves just better make sure that she isn't up for getting some street justice, sitting in a chair somewhere getting her hair corn-rowed....

It's rhodium plated, sterling silver and dangles from an 18" chain. It can be all your for only $49 bucks. Hey, that means you can slip it on, get wasted, and start fist-pumping too.

?So I know this is really, really shallow of me, but I'm proof positive that I'm not the only person who wants to know about this ish---and yes it's just for kicks but don't put all the blame on me.....Beyonce started it with that If he liked it then he should have put a ring on it melody.... Here's the Question. If  the measure of love is weighed in carats, then which man loves the best out of the newly announced brides to be below? Go ahead...you can check the numbers and make the comparisons for yourself. You know that you want to. Oh, and shout out to the women who are doing it for themselves out in the world rocking their right hand rings.It's all good. I feel like a woman should always have options, but settling for someone who can't bring something to the table should never be one of them. Happy Thanksgiving.

So get this----I'm actually speechless, so give me a sec. No, really I am. Now, I'm a girl who loves a multi-strand, and I love to rep bold jewelry pieces. I also get the picture that some pieces are solely supposed to be high fashion, you know; editorial, statement jewelry pieces that you might see on a runway or in a magazine. But these people wore this stuff out. In public. Where there was obviously people with cameras. Oh what brave souls..... I suppose I've found   my voice again, because this has to be said....NOT A GOOD LOOK. Not A One.

It's been more than twenty-five years since Madonna made her rock-pop look ultra-popular with the world. small hats, piled on plastic rubber bracelets, and a plethora of neon jewelry---and now she's ready to make a 2010 fashion comeback along with her offspring Lourdes in tow, who's giving the Material Girl fashion line her own teen-aged seal of approval. Lourdes, or "Lola" as she is most affectionately called doesn't seem to be just lending her less- seasoned demographic identity to the brand. She's a girl who's going for the Material Girl vision in a hands-on kind of way. The young fashion designer wants people to know that she regularly meets with design teams to work on both their collection and blog . The new line will consist of apparel, footwear, handbags, and yes---of course, FASHION JEWELRY.

They're pulling out all the stops to promote the line, including hiring one of Gossip Girl's own Taylor Momsen pictured below in one of the shots taken for the Material Girl Ad campaign. BTW, that's Madonna crouched down showing the photographers how things should be done.
