People magazine said the divorce papers were filed under seal last week, and that a representative for Bullock confirmed the divorce is final.

Bullock seemed to be on top of the world several months ago when she won the best actress Oscar for playing a tough-talking Texan socialite in the football film The Blind Side. But only days later her marriage to James was rocked by reports of his cheating.

The two quickly separated and Bullock later revealed that she had adopted a baby boy, for whom she is now caring.

In April, the actress gave her first interview to celebrity magazine People and said she would be filing for a divorce. James, a motorcycle maker and reality TV star, had been publicly linked to at least four other women.

LOS ANGELES, June 29 Transformers actress Megan Fox married her longtime boyfriend, former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green, in Hawaii late last week, TMZ.com reported yesterday.

The pair tied the knot during a small ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on the states Big Island, according to the website. Staff at the hotel were not able to confirm the report, and Foxs (picture) publicist did not immediately return an e-mail seeking comment.

Fox, 24, and Green, 36, reportedly got engaged for a second time at the same hotel earlier this month. They met in 2004, got engaged in 2006, but called it off in early 2009.

It was the first marriage for both, although Green has an eight-year-old son with actress Vanessa Marcil.

Fox appears in the comic-book adaptation Jonah Hex. Last month, she was suddenly dropped from the cast of Transformers 3 just as production was about to begin.

Green has worked steadily in a series of low-profile film and TV projects since the popular teen soap Beverly Hills, 90210 ended in 2000.

CNN mainstay Larry King quitting after 25 years

LOS ANGELES, June 30 Larry King, the CNN personality known for his nonconfrontational interviews, colourful suspenders and complicated personal life, said on Tuesday he would end his talk show in the fall after a 25-year reign as a key promotional stop for the rich and famous.

King, 76, said he wanted to spend more time with his family. His seventh wife reportedly attempted suicide earlier this month after the couple said in April they would divorce.

But his show, Larry King Live, is regularly beaten in the ratings, and his eclectic guest list often confounds viewers. CNN, which had been broadcasting for only five years when King signed on, has also lost viewers to Fox News and MSNBC.

The New York Times recently reported that his average nightly audience has been cut in half since the last presidential election in 2008, to just 725,000 viewers.

King, whose contract was due to expire in June 2011, said he would still host specials for CNN.

With this chapter closing Im looking forward to the future and what my next chapter will bring, but for now its time to hang up my nightly suspenders, he told viewers.

King began his career as a journalist and radio broadcaster in Florida before being wooed by CNN to host the nightly TV talk show in 1985.

He said his first interview was then-New York Governor Mario Cuomo, and since then his guests have included a whos who of world leaders, celebrities and other newsmakers of varying import. One of his biggest scoops was in 1992, when Texas billionaire Ross Perot came on the show to announce a presidential run.

King recently hosted a telethon to raise money for victims of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and his show is a vital port of call for troubled celebrities, such as R&B star Chris Brown, seeking redemption.

His softball questions are often pilloried by critics, but his style also helps attract wary stars, such as Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton, who know that they wont have to discuss any challenging issues.

Tuesdays programme included comedian Bill Maher and US General David Petraeus, the recently appointed head of military operations in Afghanistan.

King is a member of the Radio Hall of Fame and Broadcasters Hall of Fame, while Larry King Live is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest running show with the same host in the same time slot.

But in recent months, Kings marriage to Shawn Southwick, 50, has run into trouble. In April, the pair said they would be divorcing, but about a month later, the two decided to reunite and work on their problems.

In June, Southwick attempted suicide at her home in Utah by overdosing on prescription drugs, according to a police report detailing the incident.

I talked to the guys here at CNN and told them I would like to end Larry King Live, the nightly show, this fall and CNN has graciously accepted, giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the kids little league games, King said in his statement. King and Southwick, who were married in 1997, have two young sons, Chance and Cannon. King has been married eight times, previously. He married one of his wives, twice

Singer Jennifer Hudson arrives at the Pre-Grammy Gala presented by the Recording Academy and Clive Davis in Beverly Hills, California, January 30, 2010.

LOS ANGELES, June 30 Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson broke down as she spoke for the first time publicly about the murders of her mother, brother and nephew.

The one-time American Idol contestant, who went on to win an Academy Award three years ago for a supporting role in her feature debut Dreamgirls, said the 2008 triple-slaying was surreal.

Its all a blur. It was surreal, she said during an episode of US cable channel VH1s documentary series Behind the Music broadcast two days ago. It was like I was outside of myself.

The bodies of Hudsons 57-year-old mother Darnell Donerson and 29-year-old brother Jason Hudson were discovered inside the home where Hudson grew up in Chicago. Her 7-year-old nephew Julian King was later found dead in a vehicle.

All three had been shot. William Balfour, the estranged husband of Hudsons sister Julia, has been charged with the murders.

Hudson, now 28, disappeared from the spotlight for a few months after the murders, recalling that for two weeks she basically stayed in one room with family and friends.

I prayed when Id get up in the morning and prayed before I laid down at night, she said.

Not long after the murder, Hudson got engaged to David Otunga which whom she had a son last August. Her debut self-titled album went on to win a Grammy award.

She said she knew she needed to get her life back on track.

In so many ways I channel (my mother) because she was such a great mom, said said adding that her son makes me feel like the most special person on earth. I want him to get the same love and the same upbringing my mother gave us.

Kylie Minogue sexy as ever on Aphrodite

Photobucket
NEW YORK, July 1 Pop star Kylie Minogue has cultivated international success spanning two decades with her sultry image and catchy, tinny pop songs that blossomed into mainstream dance music beats.

The London-based, Australian singer is still selling her dance-floor hits and sexy formula with her new album Aphrodite, being released globally on July 6.

The first single, All The Lovers features a provocative new video where she is effortlessly hoisted up by underwear-clad men and women caressing her and each other in an image that blends easily with work from earlier in her career.

If a sexy video seems like an easy way to create sales in an ailing music world, Minogue (picture) told Reuters in an interview that nothing in her long career has been simple. At age 42, she admits pressure is still on to sustain her sensuous image, and battling cancer in 2005 has taken a toll on her body.

There is no short cut to learning your craft, she said of her time in the music business since her 1987 cover of The Loco-Motion launched her career. You dont know it in the beginning, you cant fathom that, but now, 20-plus years later, I can go into the studio and I know where I sit.

The new album was steered by British producer Stuart Price, one of the most in-demand pop producers, best known for his work on Madonnas 2005 album Confessions on a Dancefloor.

Aphrodite features 12 tracks that highlight her uplifting dance-floor roots mixed in with disco beats, and it discards any ballads like those that appeared on previous albums. Music executives hope it will help boost struggling label EMI Group.

Early reviews have been glowing, with the BBC calling the album pure Kylie magic and The Telegraph in London rating it four stars. The Telegraph called it a mainstream pop blast with tingly keyboard hooklines showing off the sensuality of her light, breathy, close-to-the-mic vocals.

Apart from hits including Cant Get You Out of My Head from her 2001 album Fever, Minogue has not achieved the wide audience in the United States that she enjoys in parts of Europe and Asia, but she could capitalise in America on the current popularity of dance music spearheaded by Lady Gaga.

It is still pop dance but it has got a euphoric theme, Minogue told Reuters, adding the album reflected the good place she felt in her relationship with Spanish model Andres Velencoso.

With him, it has been just very relaxed and a very easy relationship so I have got that kind of feeling at the moment, she said.

Her image is played up in the All The Lovers video that shows same-sex kissing which Minogue said paid homage to her gay audience who helped propel her initial success.

I said I am fine with all of that, but it cant be overt and I dont want it to be for shock value or anything like that, she said of the video, before adding, If you look at the demographics in any of my shows, there is all sorts there.

Minogue shed any claim to being labelled a wholesome, girl-next-door years ago when she dated late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and showed off a penchant for wearing hot pants. But now, she said the pressure to look good everyday was at times wearing.

I can feel there is a personal pressure in the digital age when you have got 15 paparazzi out the front of your house. It is a bit confronting and daunting, she said. But I think I have found a place where I am comfortable now.

She has been part of a small number of celebrities to openly talk about having used Botox in the past.

Its so run-of-the-mill these days, she said, adding that the pursuit of beauty was as old as time and part of an adventurous personality. I am out there with the first girls, if there is something fabulous I will go and try it.

The tiny pop star recently made her debut at the music festival in Glastonbury, five years after she was forced to pull out due to being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Even if it is not evident in her music videos, her body has indeed changed, she said, due to her cancer treatment, which at one point caused her to lose all her hair.

Beauty treatments you can have, all of that stuff aside, I do look different now than I did certainly before I was ill, she said. Now I look back then and think, there was just nothing of me.
