Rush Limbaugh Hospitalized

Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital from the Kahala Hotel and Resort.

Limbaugh indicated chest pains, and paramedics arrived at 2:41 PM treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center and he is listed as in serious condition.

He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week, next to the Kahala Hotel.

The radio host is spending his annual end of the year vacation in Hawaii.

Oddly, two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are also on the island. 100% coincidence, we're sure. His show is to be hosted on January 31 by Dr. Walter Williams. Our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Quiet New Years Eve For Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson will spend Tomorrow eating pizza and watching ‘The Twilight Zone’ on Syfy.

The 25-year-old actress – who is married to actor Ryan Reynolds – will see in 2010 with a take away, champagne and a marathon viewing session of the cult show because of work commitments.

She said: “We’re both working on New Year’s Day anyway. So, we won’t do much. You know, pizza would be nice, a little champagne. Maybe watch the ‘Twilight Zone’ marathon. That’s always a favourite for me.”

The screen beauty is “over” big celebratory parties and much prefers a quiet night in these days.

She laughed: “Going from one party to the next and surfing to find the right thing, and being in a taxicab when the clock strikes — I’m so over that stuff. At the ripe old age of 25. I have the most fun when I’m surrounded by people I love in one place that’s comfortable and we can hear each other. You can play card games, watch movies, I’m happy.”

Amy Adam's Non-New Year resolutions

Amy Adams doesn't make New Year’s resolutions. The ‘Doubt’ actress – who is expecting her first child with fiance Darren Le Gallo – says she won’t make any promises to herself when she welcomes in 2010.

She said: “I really haven’t set any. I think what I came up with was to have no regrets because usually I set a resolution and I don’t really follow through and then I have regrets. So this year, maybe no resolution. That’s my resolution – to roll with it. I think this will be my year of just rolling with it.”

Amy also admitted she is slightly nervous about becoming a first-time mother but is looking forward to meeting her new addition. She said: “I feel great. I’m feeling really good. Excited, nervous... but mostly excited.”

As to whether she was having a boy or a girl, she said: "I'm too impatient to wait for a surprise. We'll probably find out. I thought about waiting and I just don't think that's really my personality. It's not about planning a nursery, it's more about I just want to know. I want to be able to relate in that way. That's what works for me, but I totally believe in whatever works for the individual."

To be continued...

Brittany Murphy’s death certificate has been released

The ‘Clueless’ actress - who was married to screenwriter Simon Monjack - was believed to have suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles when she passed away aged 32 on December 20. But the official document lists the cause of her death as “deferred” and the manner of death as “pending investigation”.

Her father Angelo Bertolotti, with whom she barely had a relationship, is also not listed on the certificate – instead it claims he is “unknown”.

The exact cause of death is expected to be confirmed when toxicology results are returned early February.

She actually recodrd an album in late 2009 and a music executive said: “People are definitely interested in Brittany and her story. Depending on what she may have recorded and what kind of quality it is, she could end up having a hit song or two” ala Aaliyah. It has been reported that tracks from the actress’ debut album may be released in 2010.

There has been a lot of speculation about Brittany's use of prescription drugs and weight issues. Ten different types of perscribed medication were confiscated from her bedroom after she was found collapsed in the shower by her mother.

The Taylors Split

According to UsMagazine.com, after months of dating, even though both denied it, Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner have split.

A source close to Swift told UsMagazine, "It wasn't really developing into anything, and it wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends. There was no chemistry and it felt contrived."

According to a source of Lautner, "He liked her more than she liked him." Ouch! Looks like Taylor Swift has broken poster boy, Lautner's heart.

The following message was posted on Avenged Sevenfold's official website:

The Charlie Sheen Drama

More and more details are emerging everyday about Charlie Sheen's alleged attack on wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Eve/Christmas morning. An Aspen police officer who responded to the 911 call placed by Brooke, claims in a sworn statement that Sheen had exhibited this type of behavior in the past, held her at knife point, and threatened to kill her if she told anyone what had occurred.

When interviewed by police Sheen admitted that the pair have been having marital problems and an argument over a song Sheen had shared with his daughter by another woman was the cause for the altercation. Sheen claims Mueller became jealous and threatened to divorce him and take the children. Sheen also claims Mueller was drunk at the time, and when officers arrived at the home Mueller's blood alcohol level was .13.

When interviewed by police Mueller shared a different story claiming Sheen became angered over her request for a divorce. He then grabbed her by the throat, and waved around a small switchblade knife.

Officers did discover a small switchblade knife in Sheen's belongs and he was placed under arrest after an officer did take note of red marks on the upper part of Muellers neck!

Story is still developing...

Superman watch out. Who's able to run a country, raise his children and shower his wife with great anniversary gifts? It's Barack Obama, and our Prez is still getting shine(with Oprah Winfrey & beyond) on the present that he purchased last year for his spouse. The Oval Office head bought a customized gold and gemstone starburst brooch pin from Italian fine jewelry designer Garavelli in a Chicago store. Naturally, Michelle put her own spin on the pin by turning it into a major adornment, attaching it to a double strand pearl necklace. Yeah. It ain't hard to tell...she makes him better---and he knows it, but together they're a force to be reckoned with.

Rudolph Christmas Misfit Doll Mystery Solved!(?)

She started out as a “Dolly for Sue,” and ended up as one of the great mysteries of Christmas in the late 20th century. Her first appearance in 1964’s ‘Rudolph The Red-nosed Reindeer’ lasted only a few seconds as a tertiary character on the Island of Misfit Toys, ruled by good King Moonracer, a flying lion.

Some of the misfit characters included a polka-dotted elephant, a Charlie-in-a-box, a cowboy who rides an ostrich, a grape-jelly gun, a plane that doesn’t fly… you get the point.

‘Useless toys’ in the traditional sense, but definitely fitting the ‘misfit’ label.

In the 1965 (and all future airings), the Misfit Toys had a bigger role; in the original airing, the Island of Misfit Toys were simply forgotten. The network got questions, even complaints, as children wondered what happened to these poor, unwanted toys. With the additional time to complete their part of the story, the toys were given more “on-air” time.

That extra attention has made many people ask what made that little doll such a misfit. I am reasonably confident that I have finally found the answer.

The original Misfit Toys were all for boys (this was 1964!). With the fleeting scene during the first airing, my theory is that they needed a ‘girl toy,’ so the “Doll for Sue” was created.

In 2007, on NPR’s “Wait Wait, Don’t Tell Me,” Rudolph producer Arthur Rankin Jr., said that Dolly's problem was psychological, and was caused from being abandoned by her mistress (Sue?) and suffering depression from feeling unloved. Backing that up, when sold at CVS in 1998, her tag said ”I'm a little rag doll who just wants a friend. I think that will help my broken heart mend."

Many people accepted that answer, but putting 21st century psycho-babble into a stop-motion animatron created for a few seconds of air-time on a children’s television special from nearly fifty years ago just doesn’t make sense.

The reality: She was a last-minute add-on misfit toy so the young girls watching had a toy they could relate to.

What made her a misfit toy? It’s as plain as the nose (probably) on your face. More precisely, it’s the nose missing from her face.

Mystery solved.

Disagree? Let me know below…

Sports:Tallest Teen Basketball Player In The World

Call her Air Anderson.

This up-and-coming New Jersey high school basketball player is only 16, but Marvadene Anderson is already a giant on the court. At just under 6-foot-11 -- and still growing -- she's the world's tallest teenage girl. The Jamaican-born hoopster, who could tower over legendary ballplayers like Michael Jordan (6-6) and LeBron James (6-8), was the highest-scoring "netball" player in her country -- a sport similar to basketball. That on-court prowess earned her a scholarship to Rutgers Prep in Somerset, and for the last two months she's been hitting the hardwood to learn the rules of basketball. The Argonauts center was a standout with her teammates during a practice game Wednesday, where she played alongside pint-sized point guard Arielle Sherman, 15, who at 5-foot-2 barely reaches Anderson's elbow.Anderson uses her size to intimidate her opponents, block shots and make easy layups."Everyone has come up to me and asked if I play college basketball. I told them I'm only a sophomore in high school. They gasped when I told them," Anderson said. The gal giant, whose family remained in Jamaica, was taken in by Enid Angus, who discovered her talents.

"She's my heart. I committed to treating her like my own," she told the Asbury Park Press.Anderson said she got her nickname "Bubbles" because of her good humor."People are friendly with me because of my height and my personality. If I was tall and mean, I think I'd have a problem," she said. The biggest problem "Bubbles" seems to have is adjusting to the cold weather and finding clothes and shoes to fit her 210-pound frame and size-12 feet.As a schoolgirl back home, Marvadene confessed, she was teased a lot."They call me 'baby giant,' and my older sister Kimberly is 6-foot-4. They call us the Twin Towers," she said."The rudest thing anybody ever said about my height is that I'm not going to be able to find a husband."Rutgers coach Mary Coyle-Klinger and her sister, former WNBA coach Pat Coyle, have been working with their new star. Anderson picked up six points in her first game on Dec. 10 and Coyle-Klinger was not disappointed."Of course she is going to be a star," she said. "She's a natural. She's only been playing two months and it's amazing how well she's adapted."

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins Split

Actors Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have officially separated after spending over two decades together. Sarandon's rep went on the record, claiming: "Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins have announced that they separated over the summer. No further comments will be made."

This news comes as a surprise to many fans, who, while not officially married, had maintained a relationship much longer than would normally be expected for a Hollywood couple. The two began dating in 1998 after meeting while filming Bull Durham. They have two sons together and were well known in recent years for their political activism. No reason for the unexpected split has been given as of now.

Dance Judge Accused Of Child Molestation

Shane Sparks was arrested Friday morning and charged with eight counts of child molestation. Sparks is a judge on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew and a choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance.

Sparks committed "lewd acts on a child" in 1994. The criminal complaint documents eight incidents of abuse. Sparks allegedly had a relationship with a female that included acts of oral sex and other acts "with the intent of arousing, appealing to, and gratifying the lust, passions, and sexual desires of the defendant, who was at least 10 years older than [the victim]."

Steve Meister, Sparks' lawyer, contends that these accusations are false and that Sparks is an innocent man. Meister states that the accusation is "bogus" and that it "reeks of opportunism and exploitation."

If convicted, Sparks will have to contribute his fingerprints and DNA to a national database of sex offenders.

Brittany Murphy's Husband Opposes Autoposy On His Late Wife

Simon Monjack is strongly opposed to the LA County Coroner's office decision to perform an autopsy on his wife, actress Brittany Murphy. The Corner and LAPD are investigating into the cause of death of the thirty-two year-old actress.

On Sunday morning, Murphy's mother allegedly found her daughter unconscious in the shower. The ambulance attempted CPR on the actress, but she was non responsive. Murphy was rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. The coroner is speculating the Murphy died of natural causes, specifically full cardiac arrest.

Last Saturday, Monjack was in the hospital after the couple flew home from Puerto Rico, where Murphy was filming a movie. Monjack was having asthma attacks and appeared incoherent.

Hollywood is mourning the loss of Brittany Murphy. Her Just Married costar and real life ex boyfriend Ashton Kutcher took to his twitter, stating, "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, and her amazing mother Sharon. See you on the other side kid."

Brittany Murphy Dies at 32

Her mother allegedly found her unconscious in the shower, and a 911 call was made from her husband Simon Monjack's home in Los Angeles. Paramedics administered CPR, and continued to do so until they arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. No cause of death has been released, but an investigation will be launched by the LA County Coroner.

POLITICS: Chavez Attacks Obama in Copenhagen, as Louisiana is Named Happiest State

Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez took a nasty jab at President Obama on the last day of the Copenhagen climate talks. The final hour is always the best time for a coward to land a sucker shot. In other news, Louisiana was named the happiest state in the union. Yeah, shocked us too. And former 'America's Next Top Model' finalist Nik Pace is asking for a lot of money from her baby's famous daddy. Learn about all this and more in What You're Searching For Today...

Nik Pace Making babies is an expensive thing to do. New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards knew that when he knocked up 'America's Next Top Model' finalist Nik Pace. That's why he filed for paternity in the state of Georgia when Pace gave birth to their child in August, according to the New York Post. But Pace wants more dough than the traditionally stingy child support laws of Georgia would allow. She's now suing the footballer, who makes about $5 million a year, in less stingy New York for $70,000 a month.

Happiest States in America According to a new study that surveyed how satisfied people are with their lives, the happiest state in the US is... Louisiana? Researchers from University of Warwick in England and Hamilton College in the US polled 1.3 million people across the country between 2005 and 2008 to determine the results. Following Louisiana are Hawaii, Florida, Tennessee and Arizona. The least happy state is New York.

Obama Copenhagen Speech The Wall Street Journal says President Obama's 8-minute speech at the Copenhagen climate conference "thrilled nobody" Friday morning. According to Newsweek's The Gaggle, the speech "went over decently it was neither stellar nor awful." Big mouth Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez didn't agree. He took to the podium on the final day of the summit to say, "It still smells like sulfur in the world." He continued, "The Nobel Prize of War just finished saying here that he is here to act. Well, show it sir. Don't leave by the back door."
