Life-Altering Fashion Jewelry... Really?

I was inspired to post this blog entry based on the actions of people who act like they're down for you, act like they support you but don't, or know that you have things going on and say nothing at all because of envy and jealousy. These are the haters. And because they aren't armed with high ambition and drive(like you and I), their only aim is to bring you down. People have been trying to find ways to combat them, probably since the beginning of time---interestingly enough, with fashion jewelry even. Remember those individuals who wore garlic cloves around their necks? Okay, so maybe that's not something you'd generally see anymore but EVil Eye jewelry is definitely around. It's goal is to ward off anyone who doesn't wish you well and the eyes on your necklace, bracelet, anklet or ring is always watching. Even Celebrities are buying into it. But do I? Not really, because I was born with two healthy 20/20 vision eyes of my own....Now take that, take that. Because I see you. Hi haters.

I ask you, what's a post without a photo of Dr Evil himself? Yeah baby...

And this was totally off the radar for me readers---who knew that Charlize Theron (from that movie Monster) broke up with her boyfriend Stuart Townsend? I mean, I know that she was always saying that she wasn't somebody who was into being wifed up, but WOW. After 9 years with a man.... Guess that's why she's wearing the thickest red string bracelet. It's supposed to ward off bad will, so maybe she's off to a good start in willing herself to think differently about putting that much time in with someone and having nothing to show for it. I'm just kidding girl. I understand Charlize, make it about you girl. Get your soul-search on.
The queen of kabbalah. Madonna. Madonna. Por supuesto. (that means of course in Spanish peoples) I know you all like how I shake it up and keep it interesting on this blog!

Kim Kardashian was sporting these Evil-Eye bracelets in June 2010. The nerve. Who would hate on Kim K?

Do you know who this disguised-wigged-out-Evil-eye-bedazzled-tee-wearing-woman is ? It's Paris Hilton, via her Twit-Pic.

Okay, so I didn't who this was either at first. It's Sports Illustrated Model Brooklyn Decker.

I like him and think he's a creative musical genius, but I'm certain that this guy has lots of haters. Maybe that's why he found it necessary to have two eyes on watch to protect himself from the nay-sayers. It's Mr. flashing lights himself, Kanye West.

And Brittny Gastineau (I spelled it correctly).

Jay Z Addresses Illuminati Rumous

He's a amazing, not a Mason, says Jay-Z in his latest song with rapper Rick Ross. The reigning king of hip hop moguldom is hitting back at the widespread urban legend that he is part of a devil-worshipping secret society of Freemasons., reports MTV News.

Jay addresses the rumors on "Free Masons," a collaboration with Ross. "If y'all n---as fear me, just say y'all fear me," raps Jay. "F--- all these fairy tales/ Go to hell, this is God engineering/ ... I said I was amazing/ Not that I'm a Mason .../ I'm on my third six, but a devil I'm not. ..."

The rapper was equally forthcoming about the rumors during an interview with a
New York radio station. "I got a lot of money," he told Power 105.1 radio host Ed Lover earlier this year. "When people get a lot of money, they start getting those rumors, like Tom CruiseWillie Smith. That's ridiculous."

Actress Anita Joseph almost hangs on movie set

Popular Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, came very close to being hanged on location of her latest movie Titanic Hustle.

In the movie, Anita Joseph played the role of a woman who mistakenly killed her husband and was so devastated by her role in her husbands death that she decided to hang herself. Incidentally, it was during the act of shooting the hanging scene that disaster struck, as what was supposed to be a make-belief hanging scene turned real and Anita Joseph almost got herself killed.

While trying to get her neck into the noose and keeping her feet on the raised platform, the noose tightened around her neck and she simultaneously lost her footing.

I dont know what happened. I think they forgot to pull the rope or something and I almost died. Though it was a mistake, when I came down, my eyes were turning and I almost quit, she said.

Woman Wanted Biggest Breasts In The World, Now They Are Literally Killing Her

Sheyla Hershey, a Brazilian model who lives in Houston wanted to have the largest breasts in the world, and she did achieve it when she had M-cup implants put into place. After more than 30 plastic surgeries, Hershey suffered her first complication following her most recent breast augmentation procedure in June. A severe staph infection reached both of Hershey's breasts.

Staph infections can enter the bloodstream and be life threatening. She has had to give herself infusions of intravenous antibiotics every twelve hours to fight the infection. The treatment has helped one breast, but doctors say the other one is still in jeopardy. That would mean that she will not only lose both implants, but quite possibly need to have the entire breast removed.

Doctors who are concerned for her life took Hershey into surgery just this past Tuesday to remove the implants.

"I had large fever and painful. I just couldn't breathe properly; it was terrible! I was in bed all day, couldn't get up," says Hershey

Official Statement from MOHIT on Wande Coals Nude Picture Saga

It has come to our notice that a purported nude picture of Wande Coal is being circulated on social networking site, Twiiter and that made him a trending topic yesterday and early hours of today.
Wande is very grateful to those who have shown him love and as well to those who were constructive in their criticisms. He is saying a massive THANK YOU.
We also want to state categorically that there is nothing wrong or to be ashamed about being naked BUT THE PICTURES IN QUESTION ARE NOT THOSE OF WANDE COAL, the multiple Hip Hop World Award winner. That is not him and that can never be him.
It is worthy of note to let you know that the rising star has been a target of orchestrated attacks in past months. Few months ago false reports of him being treated in a psychiatric home were widely circulated even when he was busy performing in shows in Nigeria and around the world. Later, another report of him slapping a fellow in a club was initiated by some faceless people as well, a report which was false in its entirety. Last year it was also reported that he slapped 9ice during an argument, a report 9ice himself denied. Now, it is a false naked picture that is being used.
We have reason to believe that the person behind these nude pictures is the same person(s) behind earlier negative and false stories. Therefore, we are no longer taking the matter lightly. Appropriate security agencies have been briefed and investigations are on-going so as to ascertain true identity of the culprit and bring him or her to book.
Wande would also like to appeal to his numerous fans to keep calm and assure them that he wont stop making good music, love them and keep right in all his doings.

Because Beckham Rapid increase " Sales Lego "

Lego is an old old game. Until now, games that hone creativity survive and recent sales figures Lego reportedly increased quite rapidly. Why? Because there is news that mentioned that David Beckham apparently is a big fan of this game.

According to Splash News, recently David Beckham makes 'confession' that he often spent his free time to build buildings with Lego bricks and pretty soon the news was making toy shops flooded with customers who want to buy Lego. The increase in sales was also unsparing. According to the same news, since the news emerged that there were about 5922 transactions is equivalent to an increase of 663% from the previous figure.

As a thank you, Lego officials invite David Beckham, Victoria and her three children to visit the Lego headquarters are in Danish. "David and his children is a huge fan and we're always open to new ideas from people who really love this game," said a spokesman for Lego.

Before I had time to appear word when Brad Pitt also have the same hobby. It was unclear whether Brad is one person who lured Lego because Beckham or even an increase in sales was also affected by Lego Brad Pit

Toby Hemingway: Taylor Swift gets new guy to go with new album

Pop country darling Taylor Swift has reportedly fallen for the star of her latest music video. Swift met actor Toby Hemingway on the set of "A Rose to the Fallen," and there's already a photo of the couple smooching making the rounds -- even though it was taken during the video shoot.

We're very protective of Taylor, so who is this Toby character anyways?

Well, according to the ever-reliable Wikipedia, the 27-year-old Brit has lived stateside since he was 13 and currently calls Los Angeles home. He's been making the rounds on U.S. TV for the last few years, appearing on episodes of "Bones," "CSI: Miami" and "Summerland," but he's probably remembered best from his role in 2006's man-witch thriller "The Covenant."

Too distracted by pre-"Friday Night Lights" Taylor Kitsch's abs to recall? You're not alone. But Hemingway was there too.

He seems to have caught the other Taylor's eye, though, and that's not the only big news on the Swift front this week. In a video on her official website, she announced the October 25 release of "Speak Now," her third studio album.

In the video she explained the "conceptual" nature of the recording, saying that each track would be a confession to a different person that's come into her life.

New Disneyland in HAwai.

Disney will open Oahu resort in 2011

In a move that sends either shivers of delight or shudders of loathing among fans of Hawaii, Disney is set to open its first resort in Oahu next year.

The 800-plus-unit property, dubbed "Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa," is designed as a Polynesian village (albeit one with high-rise towers) that will include hotel rooms and two-bedroom Disney Vacation Club Villas.

The 8.5-hectare resort is being built in Ko Olina, a golf and vacation development that already has a Marriott resort and a man-made beach carved out of the rocky coastline.

Aulani is a different kind of development for Disney, the first that isnt linked to a theme park or its cruise line. The hotel will be far from the famous tourist areas and beaches of Waikiki, which is on the other side of Honolulu, to the east, near Diamond Head. Ko Olina is the kind of self-contained environment Disney likes for many of its developments.

In a video presentation posted on YouTube, Joe Rohde, Disneys "executive designer and vice president, creative," explained the thinking behind the new resort.

"Now the word aulani specifically means a messenger of a chief ... but when you use it to apply to a place like we are making, it means the place is going to speak, to speak on behalf of something greater than itself. In this case, that greater thing is Hawaiian culture."

The YouTube video is typical of the buzz-building word-of-mouth campaign Disney has put together for Aulani. Members of D23, the Disney super fan club, were invited to preview the project at a presentation June 30 in Anaheim, Calif.

Word was released through a Disney blog that it would begin accepting reservations for the as-yet-unfinished hotel beginning Aug. 2.

Customers will have to wait awhile to actually visit -- the resort isnt going to open its doors until Aug. 29, 2011. I have to wonder why a family-oriented product like a Disney resort would open just as the school year is resuming.

The images and video show a resort that will include an A-frame entryway that echoes the Polynesian resort at Disney World in Orlando, Fla. A centerpiece of the Hawaii project will be a large fake volcano designed by Disneys "imagineers" to be embedded with subtle images of culturally significant Hawaiian animals and legends. Its the centerpiece of the water park portion of the property.

There will representations of menehune, the mythical small people of Hawaiian culture who were said to come out at night to build structures (the Menehune Ditch on Kauai is the most famous example). The menehune will be the Hawaiian resorts version of "hidden Mickeys" -- tucked away in spots around the property where children can find them in a kind of hide-and-seek visual treasure hunt. The hotel will have a pool and water play area, a "lazy river" for tubing, a snorkeling lagoon, a childrens club, restaurants and perhaps the key -- a convention center.

The Hawaii property also makes sense because the islands are popular vacation destinations for two of Disneys most loyal clienteles -- the West Coast of the United States, and Japan (which has two Disney theme parks). The Aulani website has pages in English and Japanese.

Disney is reliably sure-footed with its plans, though its success is usually in building a fantasy world removed from reality. An African adventure park in Florida or a lodge in Anaheim that looks like it was teleported from Yellowstone National Park. Its one certifiable dud -- the original version of Disneys California Adventure in Anaheim -- represented California culture to a California audience.

Much of Rohdes Imagineering work has been in Disneys Florida properties, where over-the-top design is a welcome part of building fantasy worlds. He grew up in Hawaii, so he knows Oahu isnt Orlando. A resort that incorporates Polynesian design is a welcome addition to the soulless tower blocks that have marked much of hotel development in recent decades.

But Rohde is upping the stakes, and Disney could be in danger of overreach by, as Rohde put it, speaking "on behalf of something greater than itself."

An overblown, pretentious presentation of Hawaiian culture would attract a lot of criticism. Disney has shown its ability to go the extra mile for authenticity when dealing with Hawaii, sending a team of artists to research the plantation-era buildings in Hanapepe on Kauai to use as a model for the town in its "Lilo & Stitch" movies and series.

The danger here is that Disney will create a cartoonish version of Hawaii -- in Hawaii. Well stay tuned to see how the property shapes up. Will it be creative or kitschy? Disney is hoping for big things. In the video, Rohde says Aulani will be a place where "people will come back again and again."

Paris Hilton poses for Millionaire Taek Jho Low

The millionaire businessman, who is closely linked to Prime Minister Najib Tun Razaks family, was detained together with famed Hollywood star Paris Hilton by French police.

On the right is Malaysian Millionaire Taek Jho Low.

Paris was spending the day on the boat with her sister Nicky Hilton and Malaysian millionaire Taek Jho Low.

Whats this: Famous heiress Paris Hilton relaxing on a boat with infamous Malaysian playboy Taek Jho Low? We guess that isnt that unusual since heirs and heiresses go together like peanut butter and jelly. However, what is strange is Paris private photo shoot for the millionaire on the boat.

The 29-year-old heiress was wearing a bright pink dress with a large diamond snake bracelet, tights and high heels as she posed for a photographer on the water with the Eiffel tower as a background.

Jho Low, a 28-year-old from Wharton Business School, is rumoured to be an adviser to some international corporations involved in oil, gas and construction.

Taylor Swift's new album 'Speak Now' gets a release date

This is just a hunch, but based on past performance, we're thinking that Taylor Swift's next album is going to do pretty well.

The country-pop phenomenon announced on July 20 that her third full-length record will be titled "Speak Now" and should hit stores on October 25, 2010. After two hit albums, Taylor could have the best songwriters in the world scrambling to work with her, but she's taking this one into her own hands.

Yes, all 14 songs on the album are written by Swift and only Swift. Her first single, "Mine," will drop on August 16th at 12:01 a.m. "Mine," according to Taylor in a live video webchat, is a song that is about her "tendency to run from love." Of course, rumor has it that love found her on the "Mine" video shoot.

Swift's love life hasn't exactly been low-profile: she's gone on paparazzi-snapped dates with the likes of "Twilight's" Taylor Lautner and "Glee's" Cory Monteith. Her last record, "Fearless," featured a few songs targeted at ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas... so we're expecting at least one thinly-veiled reference to the wolfpack this time around.

Kathy Griffin slams Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Lighten up or suck it!

Griffin called them "prostitutes" on a segment of her Bravo series, "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" when talking to CNN reporters. Well, Elisabeth ranted and raved about how rude that was, calling Griffin "scum" on "The View" this week.

Them's fighting words! And now Griffin -- naturally -- is firing back.

The Hollywood Gossip reports Griffin's smack down: "You have to remember that the genesis of that whole joke about Scott Brown was that when he won the election he famously said, 'My two daughters are available.' Then he was called a 'pimp' in the Washington press... The bottom line is, lighten up!"

"[Or] suck it! As the great Bette Midler said, 'F**k 'em if they can't take a joke.'"

Whose side are you on? Hasselbeck or comedian Griffin?

Fast and Furious Fast Five New Pictures

Fast and Furious Fast Five.A part of the Fast Five cast

The Fast and the Furious has become one of the most successful automotive cinema sagas in history, with the franchise currently preparing to receive the fifth title: Fast Five.

According to filmofilia, Universal Pictures is working hard to prepare the shooting of the new production, with the motion picture set to involve Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, as well as director Justin Lin and producer Neal Moritz. All of the aforementioned names will make a return for the fifth incarnation of the F&F. Lin has directed two other movies in the franchise: The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (the third one) and The Fast and the Furious Original Parts (the fourth one), while Moris has been the producer of all the previous titles in the series since the first one (The Fast and the Furious) was launched back in 2001.

Getting back to The Fast and the Furious Fast Five, we can tell you that the movie will see Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by legendary lawmen.

However, we could say that if you are already preparing to call the cinema for a reservation, youre a bit early. We dont mean to spoil the fun you were planning for tonight, but well have to tell you that the Fast Five will begin shooting by the end of the current year, with the movie coming in theaters sometime in the course of next year.

Meanwhile, you can get some popcorn, sit back in your chair and enjoy the adjacent picture showing Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Ludacris, Tyrese Bigson and Sung Kang (Han of Tokyo Drift) from the cast of the upcoming movie. (yeah, we know, no cars here!).

Austrian museum settles Nazi art theft row

The Leopold Museum in Vienna, has settled a decades-long dispute over a painting the Nazis extorted during World War II

An Austrian museum has agreed to settle a decades-long dispute by paying 19 million dollars to the estate of a Jewish woman for a painting the Nazis extorted from her during World War II, the US prosecutor's office in New York said.

"According to the terms of the settlement agreement, the Leopold Museum will pay (the victim's) estate 19 million dollars in exchange for the painting," the office of the US attorney in New York said in a statement.

The settlement means the case will not go to a trial scheduled to start this month.

The painting in dispute, Egon Schiele's 1912 "Portrait of Wally," was seized by the United States in 1999 while it was on loan to the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

That triggered a legal battle in which the Leopold Museum claimed to have acquired the work legally in 1954. The original Jewish owner, Bondi Jaray, insisted until her death in 1969 that the work still belonged to her and her heirs maintained the claim.

Osama Lookalike in Bollywood Comedy in Tere Bin Laden

Pradhuman Singh, the 27-year-old who plays an Osama lookalike in the recently released Tere Bin Laden, says he felt like a celeb the first time he walked out of the vanity van. We were shooting in a studio, and the moment I stepped out, heads started turning and then there was pin-drop
silence. The security had to come and take me through the crowd, he recalls.

Singh was working with a software firm when he got a call from an old buddy, debutant Abhishek Sharma, the director of the film.

We knew each other from our theatre days, but we hadnt spoken in years. When he called, I thought he wanted me to assist him. When we met, he said I want to play you something, and gave me was an Osama Bin Laden tape! he informs.

Singh didnt think he resembled Bin Laden till people started reacting to his look.

It was as big a shock to me as everyone else. My family and friends knew I was working on a film but had no idea that it had anything to do with Bin Laden. It was only earlier this year that I asked a few close friends to see the promo of the film on YouTube, he says, and remembers being flooded with calls asking him Where are you in the film?, though some recognised him because of his smile.

The actor had to lose a lot of weight for the film. I was 74 kgs, and now I am 63. I had to hit the gym because they didnt want an Osama with a paunch. But now I plan to gorge big time to make up for the time I didnt eat my favourite delicacies. I also learned Arabic for eight months to get my diction right, he says.

Son of a naval officer, Singh studied at Delhis Naval Public School, and then enrolled at the Institute of Hotel Management. He didnt like it much, so didnt graduate. I was working with Wipro when the Osama offer came along, he says. I quit my job because I couldnt sail in two boats.

Pakistan delays decision on Bollywood 'bin Laden' film

Ali Zafar plays the starring role

'Tere Bin Laden'will no longer open on Friday as planned after a review of a ban on the film was delayed

ISLAMABAD Pakistan on Friday delayed the review of a ban on an Indian Bollywood comedy poking fun at Osama bin Laden, which censors said was a threat to security and offensive to Muslims.

Pakistani censors banned "Tere bin Laden" (Without you, Laden) before it was due to open at cinemas nationwide on Friday. Advertisements for the film in the Pakistani press have been accompanied by "subject to approval" notices.

Indian Bollywood actor Salman Khan

The film is a spoof about a Pakistani reporter who wants to migrate to the United States and hopes his interview with a chicken farmer who is the spitting image of the world's most wanted man can get him the visa he has been denied.

Pakistani pop singer Ali Zafar plays the starring role, but the board of censors said the film could incite suicide attacks in a country already suffering Islamist militant bombings weekly if not daily.

Censors said the film ridiculed Pakistani society, was offensive to Muslims, portrays bin Laden as a "coward and ridiculous", contained vulgar language and could fan hostility among "fanatic and fundamentalist elements" in Pakistan.

Bombs and attacks blamed on Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked militants have killed more than 3,560 people across the nuclear-armed country since government troops besieged a radical mosque in Islamabad in July 2007.

But the film's promoters appealed the ban as a violation of freedom of expression, forcing government officials to review the decision.

"I'm astonished they did this," said promoter Nadeem Mandviwala.

"There are many TV programmes in Pakistan criticising the president, prime minister and everybody else in a comic way. Our society has become tolerant."

Pakistan has a relatively free media, but authorities in May briefly shut down YouTube and Facebook over blasphemous content on the Internet. Internet links to material considered offensive are still blocked.

Government officials on Friday attended a private screening of the film to decide whether to uphold the ban or release it for public consumption, but delayed a decision -- meaning that the film will not open on Friday as planned.

"We have postponed the meeting and delayed the decision until Wednesday," culture ministry official Moeen-ul-Islam Bukhari told AFP. He attributed the delay to members of the appeals' committee failing to show up.

The "Tere bin Laden" controversy comes after a number of Gulf states banned a hard-hitting Bollywood film that claims to tell the true story behind violence in the Muslim-majority region.

In India's entertainment capital, Mumbai, the film's producer, Pooja Shetty, said earlier that they were still hoping for clearance for the film.

"I'm hopeful that they will look at it in a positive light," Shetty, the joint managing director at production company Walkwater Media, told AFP.

"I don't think it's a preachy film, neither is it making fun of terrorism. It's about a fake Osama... It's a comedy, a spoofy film."

The film was being released in India and a number of countries on Friday, including Australia, Britain, Singapore, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.

It is expected to be released in the United States at a later date, added Shetty.

The film's subject matter and publicity about Pakistan's ban have catapulted the low-budget film into the spotlight in India and abroad.

The Times of India newspaper gave the film three stars, despite saying its production was a "shade amateur".

"'Tere Bin Laden' has both: smart script and some smart acting."

Mel Gibson can survive abuse allegations, says Oliver Stone

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva at the Spanish premiere of the film 'Edge of Darkness' in Madrid

Mel Gibson was recorded verbally abusing Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his child, but director Oliver Stone believes Hollywood will forgive him.

Although hardly flavour of the month after the allegations that he bruised his baby daughter during a row with his former girlfriend, Mel Gibson has won a vote of confidence from Oliver Stone, the maverick film director.

Stone tells Mandrake that the Oscar-winning star of Braveheart will continue to be offered leading roles in Hollywood. Everyone is supposed to have an opinion [about Gibson], but most directors dont work that way, Stone said at the premiere of his latest film, South of the Border, at the Curzon Mayfair, in London.

He points out that press criticism of an actor is always immediate, whereas Hollywood works on a longer time scale. Projects are developed slowly, and over the course of weeks, months, there will be projects, and I am sure many of them will want to have Mel Gibson in them, he says.

Stone, who has won three Academy Awards for films including Midnight Express and Platoon, is no stranger to controversy himself. Criticised for promoting historical inaccuracies in such films as JFK, Stone also suggested that Adolf Hitler was an easy scapegoat in The Secret History of America.

Gibsons former girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, 40, claimed last week that the 54-year-old actor had bruised his baby daughter during a row. Grigorieva intends to produce pictures of their daughter, Lucia, with an injured chin in a custody battle over the child.

She accused Gibson of punching her in the face and knocking out her teeth during a row in January when she was holding their then two-month-old daughter.

The accusation follows the release of expletive-ridden, taped telephone rants allegedly by Gibson in which he threatens Grigorieva.

DiCaprio says Japan perfect for 'Inception'

Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio (C)

TOKYO Leonardo DiCaprio hopes his mind-warp thriller "Inception" will be a hit in Japan, which has long shown a taste for anime fantasies and surreal works by its own master-director Akira Kurosawa.

The Hollywood star was in Tokyo for the premiere of the sci-fi summer blockbuster by British director Christopher Nolan about a group of thieves who infiltrate their victims' dreams to steal their thoughts.

"This is a very surreal, multi-dimensional plot structure (which) needs ideas that don't come about from Hollywood very often," DiCaprio said.

"I'm truly excited to see how the audiences here would react to this idea," he said, crediting Japanese movie-goers with embracing new concepts such as works by animation director Hayao Miyazaki and cinema legend Kurosawa.

"I'm a huge fan of Japanese cinema, Japanese anime," DiCaprio said at a Tokyo press conference. "The Miyazaki film 'Spirited Away' has very surreal landscapes that audiences here seem to embrace and seem to love."

DiCaprio, a three-time Academy Award nominee, said his latest work stood out from what he admitted can be unimaginative Hollywood fare.

"Films that come out, especially during the summer time... seem to be a recycle from other plot structures, and this is truly unique," he said.

His co-star Ken Watanabe meanwhile lavished praise on Nolan, with whom he tied up for a second time after the 2005 film "Batman Begins", even likening him to the Italian Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci.

"I really wonder what's happening in Chris Nolan's head," Watanabe said. "He has all sorts of elements, not only literary but also scientific and architectural, with a full drive to prepare them and carry them out.

"It even makes me think he is a comeback of da Vinci."

But the Japanese actor also had a complaint to share: "The director first told me to play the role just like James Bond," he said with a stern look.

"Unfortunately he didn't have a Bond girl for me in the script."

Singapore Pay TV Fined $50,000 For TV Outage

SingNet, a Singapore pay TV service provider was fined $50,000 by the state media authority for its television outage on March 1, due to a software glitch.

The Media Development Authority (MDA) said as a nationwide subscription television service licensee, SingNet was required to comply with licence conditions on quality of service and consumer service.

In a statement Wednesday, MDA said it had found evidence of SingNet breaching its license conditions on quality of service and consumer service when its Mio TV service broke down around 6am to about 6pm on that day.

MDA said although SingNet took efforts to correct the software malfunction and resume service, the outage impacted more than 10,000 subscribers which was not insignificant and caused a lot of inconveniences.

The authority was of the view that SingNet could also have provided better consumer support and resolved consumer complaints in a timely manner.

MDA said SingNet's call handling was evidently lacking when consumers complained that they could not get through to their call centre for hours, and even on the day after the breakdown.

A Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman says detectives investigating Mel Gibson have received audio recordings from a court hearing the actor's child custody matter.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says detectives received the recordings Thursday morning after a court hearing. Several sheriff's detectives were spotted outside a closed hearing where Gibson's criminal attorney and attorneys for his ex-girlfriend appeared.

All of the attorneys declined comment. The sheriff's department is investigating whether the Academy Award-winner abused his ex-girlfriend, Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva, in January.

Whitmore says the detectives received CDs, but did not know how many recordings were on them. He says detectives will now work to authenticate the recordings for a possible criminal case.

Ready? Tape No. 5 of Mel Gibson yelling at ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has just been posted."Mel, I cannot be with somebody like this. You don't love me... This is someone who hates me. Why do you hate me so much?" asks Grigorieva at one point as Mel pants and rants.

And, she says, "You're very mean.""I'd like to show you what mean really is," yells Mel.

Money issues arise again, with Mel saying he needs cash so badly that he has resorted to selling some of his artwork collection. He also says he had to give up his Los Angeles Lakers tickets. "I don't have any (expletive) money! I have to support you and everybody else! I have to sell paintings. I have to sell my box at the Lakers game," Gibson screams.

Oksana's lawyers will be in court this morning asking a family law judge to strip Mel of custody of their daughter, using the tapes as evidence Mel is dangerous, reports TMZ. The authenticity of the tapes is likely to be raised.

On the Today show this morning, an audio expert who has worked for the FBI and CIA verified that the tapes are legit.

Mel Gibson's camp has not commented.
